Blacks - Brighton Anmeldelser

I went in looking for a pair of hiking boots and Soraya was exemplary, she knew a lot about the shoes available and clearly cared about the products, using some herself, and I trusted what she said. Black Friday sale prices were a bonus and I never felt pressured at any point. I would happily visit again for my next purchase.

Visited today and wasn't looking for anything in particular, but ended up purchasing a new jacket thanks to the staff in there. They were very helpful and Harry especially gave great customer service! Would definitely recommend a trip to this store if you're looking for something specific, I'll definitely be going back!

Anastasia and Magda well lovely and very helpful, and of course the bloke with the red beard :)

Another outstanding customer service in the Blacks shop in Brighton! Mike was extremely knowledgeable and he took his time to measure my feet. I have learned that one of my feet are half size bigger and I have been wearing the wrong size for my walking boots. Therefore, after trying few different pairs, Mike offered me a great pair of Scarpa walking boots.
Exceptional customer service! I will definitely return again and recommend this shop and their staff to anyone!
PS: I will like to mention Jude too, which kindly has helped me on a different occasion. As well as the lovely representative at the till, which I don't know her name. She helped me to replace a different pair of walking shoes.

I tried to buy a model of shoes but there was no right size. Lily was very patient and helpful and finally I found another style that fit me.

Excellent service from Harry

I had a boot fitting session with Mike, he was absolutely amazing. His depth of knowledge on all things hiking was impressive. He is super friendly and helpful. I walked away very happily with great boots and insoles to help my feet when walking.

The rest of the staff were also very sweet and helpful.

If you are looking for new boots ask for Mike!!

Mike and team were really helpful. 😊thank you

I recently bought a Rab down jacket from Blacks in Brighton, and I have to give a shoutout to Mike. His expert knowledge was impressive and really helped me make an informed decision. He answered all my questions and provided great advice on the best jacket for my needs. Thanks to Mike, I left the store feeling confident in my purchase. Highly recommend seeking him out for any outdoor gear needs!

A huge thanks to Soraya at Blacks in Brighton who could not have been more helpful. She really went out of her way and clearly knew her stuff. We both bought a new pair of Merrells and she was spot on with her advice. I hope she tries out the walks we suggested (and the roast afterwards ☺️) So nice to meet such a lovely salesperson.

Went into the Brighton branch of Blacks looking for a Berghaus waterproof jacket to link up with a fleece I bought earlier in the year. Eloise served me and showed me the colour options available and then put my existing fleece together with the new waterproof. Explaining how the 2 way zips & clips all went together. Very helpful but no pressure. Thank you

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff

Was in the market for a new waterproof jacket - Magda & Eloise were very knowledgeable about the products and helped me choose the right jacket.

Really lovely staff who were very helpful.

Got some fantastic advice from Mike on a new headtorch. Had phenomenal expertise and was happy to share and make sure I got what I really needed. Thanks for a great experience!

I was served by Jude back in august. He was really helpful over the phone and in person.

Fantastic welcome and lots of help from Soraya while I tried on walking boots. She was friendly and super helpful.

Excellent advice from Alina, who is very knowledgable. We needed a lot of cold weather gear for a trip to Antarctica! There is such a lot of great gear to choose from.

Just to say that Eloise was increíble. I have a long list of items to buy for a trip to Iceland and she was willing to helping me out from the moment I asked her till the purchase of the items. She was kind, friendly and so patient. She went through every item and came up with alternatives and suggestions if the item was not in stock. She has made such a difference today . I am a very happy customer thanks to her. She is great

Anastasia was extremely helpful and very, very patient . She gave good advice and was very knowledgeable about the products.
