Bought a Kingsway bronze lamp which I assumed was manufactured by Black country metalworks. The lamp turned out to be made in china and is rather thin aluminium-painted-bronze.

The lamp itself is not horrible although looks and feels cheaper than I hoped - I just find it confusing that a small metalworking business that claims to be about craft, quality and tradition would sell mass-manufactured in china items knowing that their customers come to their store for artisan work.

Although an argument can be made that the bronze lamp manufactured in the UK would cost more than what I paid, I would still appreciate if material information could be provided and some kind of a disclaimer that this is not manufactured in-house.
If I wanted a made-in-china lamp, I'd just get it on aliexpress.

Our Norfolk outdoor light with sensor was delivered on time. Today 29th September 2026 we had it installed by a local electrician. We are totally pleased with the quality of the light and the service that Black Country gave us. We would certainly use Black Country again

I have bought many silhouettes from this company for my garden as I knew I would be moving in the future. After 6 months in my new garden some silhouettes are rusting. I complained and was advised that even though they are for the outside some "patina" is to be expected - it is rust . I was advised if I wanted them to look as new i would need to instigate a maintenance programme and offered me as a goodwill gesture a tin of paint.
Having spent several hundreds of pounds on these items as well as a bistro set, weathervane and hanging basket bracket I will not be buying from them again and cannot recommend.

Bought a bracket from Etsy which was delivered much faster than expected. This is a gift for my neighbour who recently lost their beagle pal. It's absolutely beautiful and has now been installed with much pride by the new owner.

Bought Michelin man sign as a gift.when it arrived I was surprised at the weight, I was expecting a flimsy sign, very heavy good quality. Recipient was extremely happy. Unable to show photo of it as it was taken and put up immediately! Sellers pictures didn’t do it justice

I ordered the Recycled Metal Parts Robot with Butterfly Ornament as an unusual gift. It was really well made and the recipient loved it especially as it was made from recycled metal bits and bobs. It was ordered from Etsy and Rhiannon made sure it arrived quickly and that the communication was very good.
