Ten star experience - Amazing refurbished laptop
The whole experience with Black Barn Computers was simply amazing! I ordered a refurbished Thinkpad Laptop at 1am and it was with me within 24 hours later and arrived on the weekend! I was blown away by the quality of the refurbed laptop - it looked brand new! Firing it up with a Windows 11 build on it everything was dreamy and ready to go. I wouldn't hesitate to use Black Barn Computers again and i am already saving up for a new monitor through them. Excellent customer service! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Good Service, but packaging change is needed
The product was well-priced and delivered quickly! Honestly, it was a great service.
What brought this down for me was the thousands of polystyrene bits it was packed with—like a flashback to the 1990s. They made a mess and were tricky to get rid of, and I just felt really guilty. These little bits cannot be recycled and will end up in landfills or, even worse, the ocean.

Besvarelse fra Black Barn Computers
Hi Callum
I am glad to hear you were pleased with our product and service.
I must strongly emphasise that we do not use polystyrene packaging. Any loose fill product which was included in your order - and any order we ship - is Eco-Flo packaging. This material is 100% biodegradable, water soluble and compostable making it environmentally friendly and easy to dispose of. If it were to end up in the ocean or landfill, it would simply dissolve. In an ideal world, we would not have to use any loose fill but over 20 years experience has taught us that shipping goods with no fill results in damaged products which is no good for ourselves or our customers.
Please let me know if you need any further help or clarification.
Regards
Wes

Uopfordret anmeldelse
Excellent
I was really impressed with the condiiton of the screen for a grade B, speed of delivery and quality of packaging. Hope there is more companies like this! I've bought 3 same screens last week, all for similar prices but from 3 different sources, one arrived in poor packaging and got damaged, another was badly scratched to the back. This company beats them all with service and accurate condition decription! Thanks again.

Besvarelse fra Black Barn Computers
Hi - I am sorry to hear you received the monitor in that condition. There should certainly not be any damage to the screen area such as scratches and vignettes.
I would be happy to have the screen collected and offer you a full refund or alternatively have the screen swopped out for you. We can arrange collection and re-delivery at time that suits you. Please contact me on email at sales@blackbarncomputers.co.uk so that we may arrange whichever option you prefer.
Once again, apologies.
Great support from customer service…
Great support from customer service using their online chat (with a human!) while trying to decide on my purchase. Their help was the reason I made my purchase with Black Barn Computers. And the monitor I bought is excellent and just what I was looking for.

Dell refurbished desktop from Black Barn Computers
Black Barn Computers supplied me with a refurbished Dell desktop computer in immaculate condition which has performed excellently. I have purchased many refurbished computers over the last 25 years, some from 'big name' companies, and none has equalled the quality of the machine supplied by Black Barn computers. The company's website is clear and informative and any queries I had were handled promptly and efficiently. Furthermore the computer, monitor and other components were packaged so well I think it could have survived an earthquake!
