I visited this centre as I was local to…
I visited this centre as I was local to the area. I had come previously come her about just 1-2 years ago. TBH, it was old, then breaking apart. But I visited this week and was blown away by how much it changed for the better. The staff we're amazing and the building look like amazing also. I 💯% recommend this centre as its refreshing and welcoming, along with brilliant management!

Friendly reception staff…
I have been coming to the Oasis centre for a few years now mainly to play squash! The courts could be better maintained and holes on the walls fixed quicker but overall satisfactory. Ferrah at reception has always been very friendly, courteous and attentive for me and our Outplay club members.

I loved the pool and the staff were…
I loved the pool and the staff were always very friendly. My only issue is that the sauna gets very full quickly.

The importance 9f sincere friendly receptionist people
My experience is made great by the friendly staff who are all easily approachable. Both reception staff and life guards make my experience so enjoyable. Especially Ferra at the reception he is the best and has always encouraged my Fitness progress throughout the times, 💪😀 Ferra is so helpful and is always willing to help, the encouragement seriously helps me focus on my fitness goals, Its definitely worth pointing out that being greeted with such up beat posative energy has a over all impacted on my experience and Fitness Journey. One of the best gyms in central London…
One of the best gyms in central London all staff are very welcoming friendly and helpful, memberships are very reasonable considering the location and gym facilities , has an out door pool which is fab a fully equipped gym which has just been updated and an amazing selection of fitness classes especially Carlos Power pump, HIIT and spin classes they are energetic strength building and fun the music selection is spot on for the moves we do, it’s amazing how the right beat can really help push you and every class is so perfectly planned out I really feel my fitness has improved since starting his classes I didn’t think I would ever look forward to doing a workout especially being in my 40s but thanks to Carlos and the great team at better I actually do so thank you

A Hidden Gem in London
Better Oasis Gym, Covent Garden
I can’t recommend Better Oasis Gym in Covent Garden highly enough. It’s a true hidden gem in the heart of London, offering an unbeatable combination of affordability, quality, and convenience. It affords local residents who live in smaller flats a place to relax ( sun deck is essential year round ), outdoor pool and many daily classes.
First and foremost, the staff deserve a special mention. They are not only highly competent and professional but also genuinely welcoming and kind. Whether you’re a seasoned gym-goer or just starting out, they make you feel comfortable and supported, offering expert advice and assistance without ever being intrusive.
The classes themselves are also well run and at good times - perhaps only criticism is a few additional ones on Sundays as they are always fully booked. If you are looking for a personal trainer - those too. And for fitness classes - I love Kate’s intense spin classes - you have to come prepared to work but it’s help me focus on realistic fitness goals and develop my strength into my late 50s.
What truly makes this gym a standout is the incredible value. For just £79 a month, you get a full membership that grants you access to all classes and Better gyms nationwide. So I swim at Manor House lake, use Kentish Town and Shoredtich branches and others when I can. It’s an absolute steal – especially in London, where gym memberships are notoriously expensive. From HIIT and yoga to spin and strength training, the variety of classes ensures there’s something for everyone.
The facilities at Oasis themselves are excellent. The gym is rarely busy, making it feel almost like a private club—a genuine miracle in central London. You can actually use the equipment without waiting around, and there’s plenty of space to train without feeling cramped. The gym is also well-maintained and spotlessly clean, creating a pleasant and motivating environment.
Whether you’re looking for a serious training spot, a place to join classes, or simply a no-fuss gym with fantastic value, Better Oasis Gym is the perfect fit. It’s easily one of the best-kept fitness secrets in London.

I’ve been a member of Oasis gym for 7 years now, thanks to Ferra, who came to my workplace and convinced me to become a member—and I’m so glad I did! The facility is always clean, the equipment is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly and supportive.The trainers are knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping you reach your fitness goals. OASIS Great place for fitness classes
Great place to workout and especially do the fitness classes. I think Carlos”s classes are the best! Very energetic, versatile, great music and all in all a very good workout. The power pump, HIIT and spin are all fantastic classes with Carlos. I can highly recommend :)

Hidden gem in central of London
Absolutely lovely fitness centre that's been around for years, located in Holborn with so much history! They have two pools (an indoor 25m pool and an outdoor 27.5m heated pool), outdoor sauna, rooftop for sunbathing and a newly upgraded gym which now also include a curve treadmill! The outdoor pool has been around since 1950s, also known as Endell Street Baths. Super lovely amazing friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. I've been coming here for years <3
