I went to the better gym in Lewisham…
I went to the better gym in Lewisham during the day on Monday and was shocked that the sauna had some kind worms on the floor and another Gym goer said they had been there for sometime and cockroach’s were also seen in the sauna.
The lift in the car park was broken and the stairwell lights were not working and there was rubbish all over the place.
Very disappointing and will not be going back.

Hello I’ve been going to glassmill from first day the open
It was the cleanest place
The Steam and Sauna are Dirty and Stinks sometimes
Why can’t you have a cleaner come around every few hours to make the place clean and smell like it’s clean

The swimming pool is good however the changing rooms are very dirty and full of flies. General hygiene in the building is very very poor.

Centre is filthy
Centre is filthy, pool changing rooms are disgusting always rubbish in floor and smelly. Flies around poolside showers. Aqua classes always start late. Bit of a shambles really.

The gym facilities are excellent and…
The gym facilities are excellent and well-equipped, but the hygiene standards are severely lacking. The female toilets are consistently unclean, and basic supplies like soap are often missing. Despite raising the issue multiple times over the course of a month, nothing was done until the fifth request. It’s disappointing, as the building itself is beautiful and modern, but clearly not being maintained properly.

It is usually very difficult to swim
It is usually very difficult to swim when you are free swimmer in particular during week day evenings. I usually have a booked slot but there is only one lane available due to swimming club lessons happening in the rest. The frustrating bit is that the unique available lane is overbooked with a mix of levels. It is not only difficult to swim but risky at times. Swimmers have complained multiple times to local management without any visible improvement. I hope this public review might help to bring more attention to the topic and action please. I would like this great leisure center to becomes useful to locals!

These Centres are keeping us going.. life is so hard and challenging, so it’s crucial to our physical health and wellbeing to have these facilities and a privilege as not everyone has access to them for different reasons.

Not worth the money
The standard membership for £42.75 a month (plus £12.50 setup fee) will give you a very small, not very well equipped gym (only one set of dumbbells, no fly machine, nothing for calfs) and classes that are often fully booked or cancelled. In addition, the leisure centre closes at 5pm on weekends, and they play radio all the time, with adverts every few minutes, instead of a good music playlist. In conclusion, I don't think it's worth the money. However, I appreciate the opportunity to take part in a swimming course for adults.

My experience of Better Facilities…..
Overall my experience has been made great by the time staff take to explain the use of equipment and show genuine interest in helping people to achieve their health goals.
On the flip side I have been disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of the women changing room and showers in the swimming area of one of the facilities I used, to the point where I will not be returning after this experience. (Glass Mill)

The location of this centre is perfect
The location of this centre is perfect. Easily accessed by various public transport. The staff are welcoming and helpful from the reception up to the gym area. The centre is airy, spacious and environmental friendly. Good infrastructure and security consciousness
