Feels chaotic
Feels chaotic, as parents we are not explain what is going on. The first week we went the staff told us to wait and the collected the children and took them to the pool and brought them back. The next week no one brought out 4 year old back he was left to wander through the changing room an pool on his own. I asked the man what the process was and he said he was suppose to bring them but other parents had took it amongst themselves to walk to the other pool. Honestly felt like they didn’t know what was going on and I felt slightly worried. Will see how it is next week but if the same will be making a complaint.

Pupils in Foundation lessons are accompanied to the poolside by a parent or guardian until they have been registered, and they remain with the teacher at the end of the session until collected by the parent or guardian.

I received guidance, help, friendships at a time i needed them. My fitness, possibly ,my health has improved. My mental health has improved with more positive thought. The last 2 years have a veey worrying time for my family. My husband not being well, and me learning i have morw issues with my lungs

A welcoming and safe place to exercise.
I have no complaints whatsoever about the staff. They are friendly, professional and very supportive. There is a wide range of classes available to suit all abilities and tastes. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the pool used for Aquafit has needed attention for months, if not longer. The depth is currently only one metre and I'm not sure it is fully fit for purpose.

Parent in pool swimming lessons are not lessons
Unfortunately, these were not what I would describe as swimming lessons by a professional swim instructor. You spend 30 minutes in a pool teaching your own child to swim, and you are lucky if you get 5 minutes with the instructor to help. Typically, the parent who is loudest and most confident gets to spend more time with the instructor getting more support. Lessons I have attended with my child at other centres have been more structured and include everyone, with games and different techniques incorporated into the lesson.
There is a sign which instructs you is the meeting point for the lessons, this in fact not the meeting point, and it appeared there was some misunderstanding amongst staff about where you're supposed to go. This meant my husband got lost and didn't attend the first session. When I rang up to find out what happened, I was fortunately given credit towards a further lessons.
When I have tried cancelling our subscription to attend swimming lessons elsewhere, you have to do so more than 20 days before the next payment is due, so you are stuck attending further "lessons" to get your moneys worth.

Our swimbies sessions are designed to encourage younger children to build confidence in the water with the support of their parent or guardian, alongside guidance from our instructor.
We understand that this style of lesson may not suit every family, and we greatly appreciate your feedback regarding the lessons you've had with us.

Great place to get fit and also relax
This is a great all round place with everything included at a very competitive price. Gym, Sauna, Steamroom, Pool and classes all in. Staff are very friendly and helpful too

You said in your reply to my previous review that the graduate membership for health wise members is discounted? At £32? What is the full price? As a senior the price is only £26 but this excludes me from certain classes.

The standard full price for graduate membership is £32. Healthwise members graduate to this membership type once they have completed the standard 2 year Healthwise membership.
Senior memberships, like the one priced at £26, offer great value but may have limitations regarding class access, which is why some sessions may not be available under that option.
If you'd like, we’d be happy to review your current membership and help ensure you’re getting the best option based on your needs and preferences. Please feel free to speak to a member of our team at reception or get in touch directly.

Health care exercise
This was my 2nd exercise session
The room and equipment were perfect. I have recently undergone Chemo and Radiotherapy. I am now having Immunotherapy. This has taken a lot out of me. I need to improve my general fitness and regain my strength. I am confident that this is right for me. The class leader, Amanda, is very supportive and knowledgeable.
