Prior to placing the order, I visited your store on three separate occasions to seek advice regarding access to my property, particularly the staircase, and to ask how measurements should be taken to confirm whether a Super King mattress would be suitable. Despite these repeated enquiries, I was not provided with any clear or practical guidance on how to measure the access properly, nor was I advised of any specific risks associated with delivery.
At the time of purchase, I again raised my concerns about staircase access and was advised by your sales staff that there would be no issue and that delivery would be possible. I relied on this professional advice when making my purchase.
On the day of delivery, your delivery team were also unable to confirm in advance whether the mattress could be taken upstairs. It was only through physically testing the item on site that it was determined the Super King mattress and bed frame could not be safely transported up the stairs.
As a result, I was required to change my order to a King size mattress and bed frame. I was disappointed to be informed that a 5% charge would apply for this change.
In addition, as the original mattress was purchased as part of a promotional offer, I have now been informed that in order to obtain the same mattress model in the correct King size, I am required to pay an additional £187. This extra cost arises solely due to the incorrect advice and lack of guidance provided by your staff prior to purchase and delivery.
Given that I made multiple efforts to obtain accurate advice, and that my original purchase decision was based entirely on assurances provided by your staff, I believe this situation constitutes misleading advice and mis-selling under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In these circumstances, I do not believe it is fair or reasonable for me to incur either the 5% charge or the additional £187 cost.
I therefore respectfully request that:
The 5% charge be fully waived; and
The additional £187 charge be removed, allowing me to obtain the equivalent King size mattress at no extra cost.
The last but not least, I strongly recommend Bensons for Beds to arrange onsite visit and measurement service before the ordering procedure to ensure the fitness on delivery.
The delivery and assemble service is excellent.

From the moment we walked in into the store to the after sales communication has been top rate. Parash in the Milton Keynes store could not have been more helpful from understanding what we were looking for and guiding us to suitable options. Great range, well priced and the store presentation and atmosphere in comparison to a nearby competitor, Dreams was head and shoulders above!!

Hi ordering at the shop was quick and effecient. Delivery details, times etc were sent by e mail and text and also had a phone call. Graham and stevie delivered bedstead, they were polite and courteous and arrived on time.

Excellent customer Service MK branch from purchase to delivery. Communication first class about delivery date and delivery and assembly of frame ottoman bed excellent. Received emails about order throughout at stages and also before day of delivery timed delivery and on day first class call telling me time to expect my bed .

Salesman was very knowledgeable, helpful but not pushy

From sale to delivery, it was a smooth experience, and Bensons kept us informed all the way through. The delivery men were very courteous and assembled the bed and headboard quickly and efficiently, removing all packaging when they had finished.

We has a great experience with the sales people not being too pushy initially. Allowed us to assess our sleeping habits with their technology which was interesting.
We were helped my Meera/Mira who was really friendly, helpful and informative. Wasn't too pushy whilst we were deciding.
We didnt have deposit so used finance to pay for our mattress which was relatively easy.
Was a little annoyed at being chased to sign the credit agreement as they 'wanted to wrap it up before they closed'. Other than thay element of experience, I would recommend Bensons as they were much more reasonable than some competitors. Looking forward to receiving our purchase.

Would highly recommend Bensons from a sales experience, flexibility, timeliness and their strong customer focus. Worth every penny.

Great customer service to make sure our purchase & delivery of a double bed mattress went smoothly.
Delivery went brilliantly too on the day & near to the time slot allocated.

We decided to change our bed and mattress. We went to a number of companies before we found exactly what we were looking for at Bensons for beds.
The quality and price structure were very good. Helpful staff allowed us to try a number of mattresses before deciding on the one we purchased.
We waited 5 weeks for delivery, which was punctual and the delivery guys were very polite and helpful.
Overall a very positive experience.0
