Bensons For Beds - Bilston Road Anmeldelser 

Staff member showed us incorrect colour swatch for a bed we wanted, on delivery it wasn't anything like the swatch shown. We had to return order, and reorder over the phone, to be charged 70 pound in delivery twice! When questioned the staff member Lisa, said it was standard for delivery fee to be automatically put on, but for her error, it should have been wavered! Upon looking at my banking app, the order totalling around £1500, they have also charged me on both occasions for paying for the orders in full via a card! What is that all about!! Again both times, Lisa of the bilston road Wolverhampton store, did not make us aware these charges would occur! Disgusting! Keep charging customers extra fees without making them aware is theft, and I'll be contacting my bank to get these payments sent back to my account, seeing as when I email they pass the book to me contacting the store, when store say they can't change payments that are generically added automatically! I don't recommend this company! I don't hold much hope in how long the bed and mattress will last after all of this!
Edit- then refund me the delivery fee i was unnecessarily charged.

From the moment we walked into the store Jean was friendly, welcoming and helpful, never pushy , she was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of what we needed and knew whether or not a mattress suited us before we did ( she was spot on every time) not to mention she was incredibly patient with me as I have a few long term health conditions which was making me slow and stiff , she made sure I was comfortable and not in too much pain during the testing of the beds/ mattresses , her kindness was very much appreciated. If ever we need any other bedroom furniture we’d definitely come back to this store , first class service

Staff were extremely helpful with choosing the correct bed for us. Very friendly and not 'pushy'. Delivery men notified us prior to bed bring delivered. They respected house and took away old mattress and packaging. No faults from ordering to delivery.

We decided to go back to Bensons at the Wolverhampton branch as we had an excellent experience with the two very professional & knowledgeable members of staff ( 2 senior ladies) in 2023. We were looking to purchase a king size mattress & frame for the spare room.The shop was empty and the salesman asked what we wanted, my Son (adult) was pressing the mattresses to see how firm they were before testing out, the staff member was patronising telling him "you won't tell by pressing them all mate!" we tried a few out and chose one. We were going to use a discount we had but when he was adding the code he changed the discount twice?!! We said it didn't seem correct & reading the code it said it should be more? Instead of 'politely' explaining about the % we were getting off the purchase he was really abrupt, loud & rude getting up from his chair, " I do this everyday right? So, don't try and tell me how to do my job!" We told him that we would order online instead and his words were " yeah, good luck with that!!" He laughed as we left. My Son said he was ready to walk out when he spoke to him like a child but thought we wanted to look around. What happened to polite & professional staff? This man was also dressed in a pair of ripped jeans and didn't seem like he wanted to be bothered?

Everything went smoothly from start to finish

Benson for beds have a good knowledge of our history buying beds from them. This was helpful in making comparisons when purchasing our new mattress. The sales assistant was very friendly and helpful. They kept to the delivery date. I was being frequently updated about my purchase and delivery date via email and text. I have purchased three beds from bensons. They are reliable. Their products are very good quality. The staff are friendly and approachable. Bensons thought of everything throughout the whole transaction. They are consistent and been around for many years. We value consistency in a climate of uncertainty. Thank you to all the team. We are truly happy we our purchase, its of great quality and we value how reliable you are as a business and customer focused. There is nothing I would change about the service.
