Unhappy experience with my purchase
Unhappy experience with my purchase. I was informed that my instalment plan application had been rejected — something I was not made aware of during the purchase process. Unfortunately, this rejection has now affected my credit score.
As a new resident in the country, this information should have been communicated clearly at the time of purchase, also it was not noted on the applicat. When I contacted customer service, the representative advised me to cancel the order instead of addressing my concern, which was quite disappointing.
I later spoke with the sales associate who originally assisted me, and she informed me that the application was rejected because I have only been in the country for ten months. I requested to speak with the store manager, but I was told that the manager will not be available until Thursday.
I would like to stress that I have no issue paying the full amount; however, the instalment plan was offered to me, and I trusted that the necessary eligibility checks had been made before submission. Adding to my frustration, I have also been told that my items will take six weeks to arrive as they are not currently in stock.
I am deeply concerned about the negative impact this incident has had on my credit score and would appreciate a call from management to discuss this matter and to seek a fair resolution.
Thank you for your attention and understanding. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Aisha was a great help and fount of knowledge about the products
The store in Beckton was neat and well laid out and so forth, but what was particularly impressive about the Benson's experience for my partner and I that day was the skill and input from the sales person Ayesha. She was extremely knowledgeable, took us thru various options with lots of information and speed, and was very friendly and easy to be with as well. To tell you the truth, our original plan that day was to look at both Benson's AND Dreams in that Beckton mall that day and then decide on a bed to buy, but Ayesha was so impressive and thorough, that we just decided to go with her and Benson's based on her performance that day--and skip Dreams. Could be time for a raise for Ayesha in our opinion!

Ayesha from Beckton store made our shopping experience very pleasant and enjoyable. Her friendly manner and professionalism was very helpful when we were lost and confused what option to go for. She took her time to explain things to us and this information provided enabled us to make our minds a bit faster. Thank you so much for lovely shopping experience. Ayesha gets all 5 stars from us but the company it self probably just 3 because estimate of delivery for our ordered bed is 12-14 weeks which is very long…

£100 pillows developed a strong glue smell. Customer service said the store would exchange them, but after travelling there Jay refused, saying he “had no code” and sent me back to customer service (closed weekends). Total waste of time and money — shocking service for premium prices.
