Good communication- prompt reply to any queries I might have . Think this is the 4th time I’ve used Bennett Oakley for house matters and it’s always been dealt with with a friendly professional manner.

I instructed Benett Oakley to assist me with a probation settlement involving a particularly complex and difficult family situation. Throughout the matter, Tim Richardson acted with a high level of professionalism, efficiency and attention to detail.
Tim handled the case from start to finish in a timely and thorough manner, always ensuring that my wishes and best interests were clearly understood and prioritised. His approach was calm, reassuring and highly competent, which provided me with much-needed support during an extremely challenging and distressing period.
The outcome exceeded my expectations and I have no doubt this was due to Tim’s expertise and commitment. He made a very difficult process far more manageable.

One word, COMMUNICATION!

Not reliable and definitely not professional at all.
I have my mortgage approved in January 2025 and waiting for the solicitor to complete the documentation and send to the bank still up to 23/07/2025 today nothing been done. Rude reception at the desk. Plus to deal with my case i had 3 persons dealing with the case and still no progress. They even ask me to pay for certain services and still nothing is done. Not a reliable company

I believe this is the only way to get some communication by putting in a review. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone and they don't respond to emails how are we supposed to work this out. I have given them the benefit of the doubt up to now as they have always blamed the buyers solicitors but it seems that may not be true.
I have complained before and was advised I would be updated regularly, well clearly that is not happening. This sale began in February and here we are loosing effectively £700 a month waiting to complete, with no sign of a date yet. There is no chain first time buyer, I am loosing confidence in the explanations from all parties supposed to be working on our behalf.
I used this company in the expectation as they were approved by the housing association which implied to get the process done easily it would be best to use someone off the approved list. I have put in todays date as I emailed again at 06.43 this morning and as at 15.51 no response. Just a note explaining where we are would be useful.

Today 22/07/25 I have received a review of the complaint by Bennett Oakley after they asked for more information, I am pleased to say they have been proactive in finding out causes and reasons for the delays. I am inclined to accept the response as it seems to be objective and not sliding off the blame completely. If what has now been promised is delivered I will review the situation again at completion and amend this review accordingly or remove it if that seems the proper thing to do. Just keep me updated.

I used Bennett Oakley Solicitor for a re-mortgage and would like to thank them for there great service, my point of contact was Adrian Grzenia who was efficient with replies to questions emails etc.I am now using them again for a new re-mortgage.

Jessica was very efficient and worked extra hard to get the conveyance put through in a tight timeframe. She took my calls when I needed to speak with her.

My solicitor manages well any anxieties and concerns I may have, is empathetic and understands the detail of my complex case.
