Just eaten at Bella Italia in Stratford upon Avon. Absolutely fabulous! Food was amazing 👏👏👏

Went to Bella Italia this Sunday on Fathers day for lunch with the family.
What a very poor experience. And it was barely half full so it can’t be said it was because it was so busy.
A third of the stuff on the menu wasn’t available. We were there 2 .5 hours and wasnt asked at all if we wanted drinks or anything else after the initial order. Staff were few and far between. And when my Fathers Chicken came it was disgusting, soggy and watery like it wasn’t cooked. We finally found someone to speak to about it and we were told it is cooked but everything comes in ready cooked we don’t cook it fresh it been frozen and this one doesn’t look good. We will cook you another one. Which they did and it was better but didn’t even offer a free drink or that meal for free nothing.
The pizza was nice and so was a pasta dish so not all bad but with the service being poor and pre cooked food unfortunately Bella Italia is not on my return to list.

So disappointed. Service was good as restaurant was fairly empty. Food was tasty but I could not believe the portion size of my pasta dish... looked like a child's portion. Will not be returning

Amazing food, decent price

Booked a table. Left stood there for 10 minutes. Sat down- left sitting for another 10 without a glimpse of a member of staff. 2 staff on the floor of a half filled restaurant, middle of school holidays. Fed up with waiting, if we can be on time so should you. Won't return.

We visited Bella Italia at Clifton Moor, York, we have visited many times over the years. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the fact that for the first time ever they refused to accept Tesco Clubcard vouchers. The manager showed no understanding or willingness to resolve the situation! Not only would we have not have spent so much but we wouldn’t even have booked if we’d have known this- there’s nothing on my booking confirmation! I was prepared to overlook the uncooked/ partly frozen dessert, but now feel even more disappointed and with a large unexpected bill.

Went to Bella Italia in Wigston. The food was beautiful, freshly prepared and piping hot. They also now take tastecard which enabled us to have 2for1 on majority of our items.. starters, main and desserts! The young Waiter was super attentive and so was the manageress, both checking multiple times if we were ok and had everything we required. Remembered which person each order was going to and they were even interactive with our toddler even though he was being abit of a bugger! Place was spotless. Overall a Really happy experience all round.

Rubbish! Waste of time and money.

We stopped here for a late lunch around 2pm ish last Friday, got told only tables was couple of table for 2 outside was 4 of us 2 adults and 2 kids. We had to push the tables together after giving our order we ended up with people who had just finished eating their meal smoking right next to us so I took kids for a wander food took a while to come when we went upstairs to use the toilets I saw several tables with dried food on plates looked like it had been there a while. The toilet was blocked my wee girl got a fright when she flushed it I was there with her and I know she did nothing to make that happen. Our food arrived, by now we had more people to the side of us smoking so had smokers now on both sides which is not nice especially while eating with little ones and when upstairs was empty so could have been sat up there if it was cleaned. We had dessert and my ice cream came in an actual glass used for drinks never seen that before kids had about a mouthful and didn't like theirs said it was too dry! Would never go back there again due to the terrible service waiters spent more time talking to each other than to the actual customers.

The main ordered was Spaghetti bolognese. What I got was Spaghetti and a spoon of bolognese. The meal was well below standard I will not be returning

Visited Wolverhampton Bella Italia. Very poor service. Overcharged by £56 for drinks already paid for and desserts not had. The food was actually nice. Very
noisy, had to shout to have a conversation

Went to the Lancaster restaurant and the staff were brilliant, food arrived hot and tasted lovely.

Will happily go back and eat there again.

I've been a few times before, but this time it felt like the poor relation.

How can a restaurant function with almost half their white wine list missing. No Tiramasu latte either, why bother advertising l.
I had asked if there was anything they didn't have before we ordered; however I didn't ask about drinks.

We changed from the table we were offered as it was dirty. It had been laid, just not wiped. Needed a good scrub really
Staff were uninterested and not bothered about service.
They weren't busy, but no attention was paid to clearing away or cleaning.
This was my last visit.

I have never been to an Bella Italia before and came as part of a theatre package I was given. I will never go to one again. I know they are a low cost chain, but low cost should not mean low quality. If I could give the food minus stars I would. I cannot believe the other reviews regarding the quality of the food. The dough balls were stale and hard. The pizza was terrible, I suspect cooked a few days ago and re-heated.

On the plus side the waiter was polite and apologetic, and offered to replace the dough balls with another starter or a dessert but at this stage we were just keen to finish and get out.

The restaurant itself is slightly cramped, but to be expected for a central London eatery I guess.

Overall because of the food quality I cannot recommend.

Very enjoyable delicious lunch at the Broadstairs branch. Excellent food and service. Will definitely return.

Went to the newly opened Witney Bella italia and was extremely disappointed, the food was okay nothing special but not bad. The service was not good, starters took an hour to arrive only after complaining did they come. Main course took another 25 mins to arrive. Obviously the kitchen was struggling to cope but not once did anyone come to apologise or offer us a drink or something to compensate for our wait. We cut our meal short and had dessert and coffee somewhere else. When we paid the bill the lady apologised for the wait and said they had Obviously booked too many for them to cope with. It didn't help that when we were waiting for our food several deliveroo drivers turned up for deliveries. Please stop doing deliveries when you can't cope with the customers you have in your restaurant. Before you say you can do both, YOU CAN'T. Decide take away or restaurant which is it?

We thought we would go to Bella for a meal and drinks so at 18:00 we walked into the Southampton Branch, there were 6 or 7 tables in use waited a few minutes, then someone came and said have you booked, said no, reply don't do walk ins. So left and went to eat else where. After about 2 1/2 hours and a very nice meal else where we walked back past Bella Italia still only a few tables in use, a family outside looking at the menu, have you booked -no!! Sorry, you will not get fed in there!! Nothing on the website to say bookings only, nothing outside to say bookings only. The amount of money Bella must be losing because their restaurants are 80% empty. But never mind, we will not be going to Bella Italia again!!!

We went to Bella Italia on Hanover Street in Edinburgh yesterday. The food was good but the service was incredibly slow. That in itself wouldn't have been a big deal but when we received the bill we saw that the staff had decided to award themselves a 12.5% "optional service charge". When asked why this had been applied our server told us it was "company policy". We argued that if it's policy to apply a service charge then it isn't optional and that it should be removed. Result = 0% tip and will never return.
