Quick shout out to the Bella Italia team at your Covent Garden location. Great hosting, food and friendly staff. Thank you for making my experience with my friend amazing...Sujoy was outstanding.

The service was slow, waited over 30mins between starter and main. Flat bread starter was so over cooked and the calamari was soggy in parts. For main I had the goats cheese pasta it was tasteless. My husband had the Marco Polo that was so sickly sweet it made him feel ill. Both dishes were luke warm. The only redeeming feature was the front of house who was very pleasant. Avoid Bella Italia Cheshire oaks at all costs!

I visited Bella italia in Stevenage this evening.
I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with a glass of Chianti and a tiramisu.
I could accept the £10 for a large glass of wine as I was out by myself and could justify the little treat but then along came the Tiramisu this cost me £7.49p!
I’m not lying when I was this morsel 5 cm square and that is 1.97 inches ◾️square, not even two inches, with coco powder that looked like it was thrown on it.
I know it’s just a bit of tiramisu but where is the care or even passion for presentation?
I mentioned this to the manager and to be fair she took 50% of the desert to help make it a slightly less bitter pill to swallow.
The only saving grace was the service from Chris, he was professional, friendly and attentive and I give him personally five stars but Bella Italia Stevenage gets a very generous three stars from me.
I know restaurants work on tight margins but the franchisee that owns this restaurant needs to rethink their portion size!

An early dinner after the superb “Noel & Gertie “ at the Grand Theatre. Delicious food and wine - and excellent service from Naomi - in a great buzzy atmosphere. Ideally situated for the Grand & Winter Gardens. Cannot recommend too highly!

A reliable favourite. It’s a consistent chain where to food is always good and reasonably priced. Perfect for families - something for everyone including fussy kids. They do however seem to employ lots of young adults who don’t always have the right work attitude.

How terrible to advertise free meals for children and then exclude this from London restaurants in the small print.
This is a very nasty thing to be doing bella pasta.

Visited the Bella Italia in Southampton and left thoroughly underwhelmed. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we had to wait to be seated. Staff informed us straight away that they were out of ribs and chicken Caesar salad, pretty surprising given how quiet it was.

I wanted to order the same tortellini dish as my friend (beef in red wine), but was told they only had one portion left. I ended up settling for the carbonara with added pulled chicken, which turned out to be a mistake. The portion was tiny, the sauce was watery and flavourless, and the added chicken was just a few dry scraps tossed on top. It felt no better than an Iceland microwave meal.

The whole place lacked atmosphere, no music, no energy, no warmth and it seemed like the staff were just going through the motions. The only saving grace was that the pint was cold.

Won’t be returning. Chains like this really need to decide whether they want to offer a decent dining experience or just limp along serving reheated food with no soul.

We visited the Edinburgh Northbridge branch on 20 July 2025 to ask if we could make a booking for the following day (21 July). The waiter informed us that they do not accept bookings and operate on a walk-in-only basis. Based on that advice, we returned the next day without a booking — but later discovered that online reservations were indeed available, which was both confusing and disappointing.

During our visit, the waiter wasn’t exactly rude, but he didn’t seem particularly interested in providing service either. He rushed us to place our order without really listening to what we were saying.

We were a group of eight but were told we had to sit at two separate tables, even though it appeared there was space available or tables that could have been combined to accommodate us. Given the walk-in policy, it was unclear why this wasn’t possible.

As for the food, the dough balls were served cold and dry, and the butter had completely melted, which affected the overall experience.

Overall, the visit felt more like dining at a fast-food outlet — acceptable if you’re not expecting service and don’t mind paying a bit more while hoping the staff are in a better mood.

Review for Filton Retail Park restaurant. Grating cheddar cheese as if it were Parmesan cheese onto the meals is a bit of con really. That said the food wasn’t bad, but not great either. The decor was a good standard, but could have done with air con on a very hot day. Having previously visited Bella Italia, I felt the food wasn’t as good as it has been previously. Service was ok though.

An absolute pleasure from arrival to departure. Food was fantastic, the price offer was fantastic but above all the customer service we received from Mark at Bella Italia, Peterborough just made our day.

We had 2 pizzas and 2 coffees and were charged £38. Included was a 12.5% service charge. We won't be going back. Yes the staff need to be properly rewarded but this should be covered by their pricing proposition. To ask for the charge to be removed is socially awkward.

My friend and I dropped into Bella Italia, Strand. Greeted and seated. Our orders were taken and delivered in good time, Elvin our host, looked after us with friendly and efficient service as did our waitress, sadly didn't get her name.... the restaurant has a lift and disabled toilet as well aas baby changing room. All clean despite the two large coach parties that arrived. The downstairs restaurant well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Most enjoyable 🍻

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Absolutely shocking service and Food vile!!! Staff didn't seem bothered whatsoever this was Bentley Bridge in Wolverhampton.

Went to chester bella italia today, service was amazing and staff was so friendly. Not to mention the food was AMAZING

Pasta ragu buonissima servizio ottimo gentili giovani

110 mins for frozen burger,inedible chewy kebab I had to spit out on the 1st bite. Both items swimming in mayo,despite order request notes asking politely to put the sauce in a tub. I wasted £20 on an inedible takeaway that just eat are refusing to refund. I wouldn't even feed it to the dog it went in the bin.
