THE BELLAGIO is a great choice!

We had a lovely 2 night stay late September. The hotel is buzzing, staff friendly and a happy atmosphere pervades the place. The room, was very comfortable and quiet. We chose not to have a view based on the plan to only sleep there. We were seeing the sights up close and personal. Only negative comment was it’s very busy and finding a place to sit and have a drink without first having to queue for quite a while was impossible. For those like us who eat healthily there was a very small shop that sold a couple of healthy foods which should do for breakfast and a light anytime meal.

Stayed two nights for a trade show

Stayed two nights for a trade show. At check-in, I asked if any rooms were newer than others. The nice young lady said, "Sure, I can upgrade you for $25.00 per night to our Spa Tower." I said, "Sold!" Upon arriving home and doing my expense report, I see that the hotel charged me $207 extra per night, nearly doubling my nightly rate. I called customer service, explained their error, and the lady put me on hold for 10 minutes. She came back and said, "Sorry, but that is the rate for that room for those nights." I said, "I would have never agreed to nearly double my rate as I'm on a company expense account. It would likely get me fired." She couldn't have cared less. You could just hear it in her voice. However, she offered to comp me one night's upgrade. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager also would not reason with me, and made the same offer. I accepted since I had no choice, but this has really soured me on staying again at what was once my favorite hotel in Las Vegas. With the money they've made on me over the last couple of decades, to be treated in this way was a real disappointment. Upgraded room was OK, but overlooked the top of a parking ramp. Definitely wasn't worth $207/night extra for that view. Oh, and the shower had almost no water pressure at all.

Not staying again :(

I recently stayed at the Bellagio expecting a luxurious and secure experience, but unfortunately, I encountered a serious issue. While I was away from my room during the daytime, some of my belongings were stolen. Upon returning, I noticed that valuable items were missing, even though my room was locked.

I immediately reported the incident to hotel security, but the response was underwhelming. They took a report but didn’t seem overly concerned or proactive about resolving the issue. No clear follow-up or assistance was offered, leaving me frustrated and disappointed.

For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better security and guest protection. If you're staying here, I highly recommend using the in-room safe and being extra cautious with your valuables. Sadly, this experience has made me reconsider staying at the Bellagio in the future.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Budget Offering at Inflated Price

Overall two star affair - but one because of the horrendous value.

If you're going to be a cheap knockoff of European luxury but still aspire toward luxury, at least get the basics right. Things that should be standard in a luxury room:

- Water
- Coffee
- Decent Shower with good pressure

Currently staying on last night. The room is fine. If you're from Europe and have travelled or stayed in at least a few countries, it's the standard Hilton-type room with some slightly but not drastically nicer furniture.

We tried the various food sites in the morning for breakfast, quick bites, etc. In a word, literally some of the worst food I've eaten to the point for the first time in my life, both me and my partner nearly threw up - there are budget hotels in Europe with better Buffets and offerings.

The Bellagio is trying to compete with the likes of the luxury market from Europe (Think Domes brand in Greece) and just can't hold a candle - it's just a cheap knockoff with nothing to add but only takes away.

The Venetian is a much nicer deal, overall better resort with things to actually do and decent options - better casino.

The only thing this resort has is the fountain view room and the location. Even then, if you do need to use Uber, the underground pickup is awful, with most trips leading to a driver cancelling from frustration - simple common sense is needed to manage the situation but this supposed luxury resort has no one ensuring the flow of traffic down there.

Stay at The Wynn, Venetian. Heck, New York, New York is a higher standard than the much overrated, overpriced and overhyped but ultimately very disappointing - Bellagio.

Pésimo NO LO RECOMIENDO

Realicé 6 reservaciones 6 meses antes de nuestra llegada, ya todo pagado, excepto los impuestos que te cobran en el hotel por día, llegando nos salen con la sorpresa que el hotel sobrevendió habitaciones y que 2 de las que había solicitado que eran cuádruples solamente tenían con 1 cama king, obviamente me enojé y les dije que no era mi problema, era el de ellos, tras mucho discutir me dijeron que me darían 1 con 2 camas matrimoniales en el área para fumar y la otra habitación que pondrían 1 cama individual y que al día siguiente ya me proporcionarían la habitación que reservé, pues bueno, acepté, resulta ser que la habitación que era para fumadores olía a marihuana en exceso y ahí dormirían mis sobrinas de 5 y 7 años, obviamente regresamos a recepción y reclamamos, de mala gana le asignaron a mi hermana una habitación súperior a lo que teníamos reservada, eso sí, estaba de lujo la condenada habitación, pero con mucha insistencia nos dijeron que sólo sería por esa noche y que al día siguiente ya se le daría la indicada, a lo que voy con esto, como carajo no respetaron mis reservas si lo hice con mucho tiempo de anticipación y ya pagado, da mucho coraje, además que el hotel está asquerosamente lleno de gente, es hasta incómodo caminar ahí, jamás volveré a ese hotel, no lo recomiendo.

Less than impressive

Purchased a suite at the Bellagio for 7 days.
Electrical sockets next to bed not working, shower tap loose, electric curtains open at random times in the morning waking us up. All reported to housekeeping, only shower tap fixed. Reported other issues again nothing done, and zero feedback.
Staff in general excellent, however manager of MGM Rewards blatantly rude on each occasion we had to visit desk! Other staff at Rewards apologised, but damage done.,
Cirque excellent.
All good work of waiting and room staff blown apart by lack of attention re other issues.
Will not be returning.

Never stay at the Bellagio in Las…

Never stay at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, as they have no respect for disabilities, and I felt greatly discriminated. Being asked to leave a bathroom because you’ve been in there for a long time trying to clean yourself up is simply humiliating.
My situation occurred being at the Bellagio to purchase a ticket for a show.
I have a disability (CP) and ride a Mobility Scooter and I also due to some medication I take have bowel problems. It doesn’t happen often, but it can cause some accidents at not so convenient Times.
Well, to make a long story short, I try making it to the bathroom almost next to the ticket counter, but didn’t make it in time so I had some cleaning up to do.
Being disabled, I do not undress or dress very fast.
Well, as I’m in there doing the best I can to clean myself up there’s a knock on the door. It’s a man telling me that I’ve been in there for too long and I have to come out. He does not identify himself, but he sounds very authoritative so through the door, I explained to him that I have had an accident and cleaning myself up and I’m doing it as fast as I can. He flat out tells me that I have 15 minutes to get out of there and then he leaves.
About 10 to 15 minutes later he comes back knocks on the door yell at me to come out and tell me I got five minutes. At that time I have almost cleaned myself up, but I’m naked and still need to get dressed. I tell him there’s no way I can make that in five minutes that he can look under the door and see a scooter that I’m disabled. He flat out tells me that he don’t care and it doesn’t matter. I have five minutes to get out.
At that time I tell him he can go ahead and call the police. I am really desperate and don’t know what to do in the situation.
About five minutes later a lady comes and ask if I’m OK and if I need anything.
I tell her like I told the man that I had an accident and if she could be so kind as to get me some water and a cloth, it would be very helpful as I’m trying to clean everything up. She comes back with that and scooted it under the door.
Afterwards, I ask who the gentleman was as I would like to register a complaint due to his behavior. Unfortunatelynobody I have talked to at the Bellagio either can or is willing to tell me his name or what the cause was that a man comes into the ladies bathroom like it happened.
Consequently, I have no desire of ever going back to the hotel neither to ever stay there or even to see a show. As a matter of fact, I felt really bad having to go back later that night for my show, but as the ticket was more than $200 I still did it.
I really wish that I could talk to the hotel and get the matter sorted out. I am left with a feeling That it is not safe for me as a disabled person to be at that hotel at all if I Don’t want to risk another situation like that.

Poor Standard's

Just like a Train station, so busy and staff just don't care about service.
Room standard's are poor, our shower was not draining so it was reported twice but no action taken, cleaning was not to 5 star standards.
Hotel is not 5 star.

Jean in high limit slots was terrible

Jean in high limit slots was terrible. She's in the wrong industry. I think she hates her job as she was so rude and so cold to us when playing high limit slots. You're in the customer service industry...provide better CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Phenomenal

One of the best places to stay at in Las Vegas. We reserved the penthouse for an entire week for the New Year. Place was always clean, the staff was pleasant and the fun we had was unbeatable. Worth every penny.

Passez votre chemin...Rien d'un "5" étoiles. Dès le départ, ça commence très mal. 2 heures pour faire 480m (et oui c'est précis, merci au GPS) et accéder au parking/Valet (pas assez de personnel). Enfin arrivé, il faut faire preuve de fermeté pour que l'on vous prenne vos bagages et qu'ils soient déposés dans votre chambre. 45mn de check-in avec paiement du solde dès l'arrivée (personnel hautain et qui fait mine de ne pas vous comprendre). Enfin dans la chambre (prise avec un supplément pour avoir une suite avec vue sur le strip) et là nouvelle déception. Réservation faite avec 2 lits king size (je rappelle que tout est déjà payé !) et 1 seul lit pour 3 personnes (heureusement que nous n'étions pas 4 car pas de canapé...où aurait dormi la 4ème pers. ? à même le sol ?). Retour à la réception, une file d'au moins une heure d'attente...on interpelle le concierge, qui nous demande de faire de nouveau la queue. Hors de question. On "poiraute" une bonne dizaine de minutes : réponse No Way - pas de solution. Merci pour votre erreur et votre manque de professionnalisme. La chambre, pardon la pseudo suite, ainsi que la SDB sont restées dans leur jus des années 80, les prises ne fonctionnent pas, des taches sur les fauteuils, pas de peignoirs et 2 serviettes,AUCUNES AMENITIES - même pas une machine à café. On passera sur les prix du mini bar (24 dollars la bouteille d'eau, c'est un exemple). On pourrait en rigoler mais ça continue. Le hall est bondé, il faut zigzaguer pour pouvoir avancer. Et oui, le Bellagio ça se visite et le casino est ouvert, à côté de la réception. Aucune distinction entre les clients de l'hôtel et les visiteurs. Cela empeste la cigarette, le cigare (rien contre les fumeurs mais bon je vous rappelle qu'il est interdit de fumer dans la rue aux USA même l'e-cigarette...) Partez déjeuner ou dîner ailleurs, ou dites-vous que vous passerez, dans le meilleur des cas environ 1h30 à jouer à la file indienne. Plus pathétique encore, le jour du départ, yes ! nous arrivons à nous faufiler pour prendre un encas à la petite boutique du breakfast et là, on nous facture une omelette non commandée. 30mn à palabrer pour se faire rembourser. Ah la vie de palace. Bilan ? Passez votre chemin, allez voir le spectacle des fontaines en visiteur & préférez d'autres 5 étoiles qui respectent leurs clients.

Go your way...Nothing a "5" star. From the start, it started very badly. 2 hours to do 480m (and yes it's precise, thanks to the GPS) and access the parking lot/Valet (not enough staff). Finally arrived, it is necessary to show firmness so that one takes you your luggage and that they are deposited in your room. 45 minutes from check-in with payment of the balance upon arrival (haughty staff who pretend not to understand you). Finally in the room (taken with a supplement to have a suite with a view of the strip) and there is another disappointment. Reservation made with 2 king size beds (I remind you that everything has already been paid for!) and 1 single bed for 3 people (fortunately there were not 4 of us because there was no sofa...where would the 4th person have slept? ground ?). Back at the reception, a queue of at least an hour...we call the concierge, who asks us to queue again. Out of the question. We "poiraute" for a good ten minutes: No Way answer - no solution. Thank you for your error and your lack of professionalism. The room, sorry the pseudo suite, as well as the bathroom have remained in their 80s juice, the sockets do not work, stains on the armchairs, no bathrobes and 2 towels, NO AMENITIES - not even a coffee machine. We will pass on the prices of the mini bar (24 dollars the bottle of water, it is an example). We could laugh about it but it continues. The hall is crowded, you have to zigzag to be able to move forward. And yes, the Bellagio can be visited and the casino is open, next to the reception. No distinction between hotel guests and visitors. It stinks of cigarettes, cigars (nothing against smokers, but I remind you that it is forbidden to smoke in the street in the USA, even e-cigarettes...) Go for lunch or dinner elsewhere, or tell yourself that you will spend, in the best case, about 1h30 playing in single file. Even more pathetic, the day of departure, yes! we manage to sneak in for a snack at the small breakfast shop and there, we are charged for an unordered omelet. 30 minutes to talk to get reimbursed. Ah the palace life. Balance sheet? Go on your way, go see the fountain show as a visitor & prefer other 5 stars who respect their customers.

We had 4 nights at the Bellagio, it was brilliant, the staff were lovely, the facilities amazing and we could have spent the whole time around the pools.
