I’m honestly exhausted with Bath & Body Works at this point. I placed two orders over $100 each, and BOTH were shipped back to the warehouse because of damage. No one notified me, no one reached out, and customer service has become impossible to deal with.

I sit in chat for 15 minutes waiting for someone who never appears. It even took so long that Violet AI came back and made me redo the entire form and enter all my information again just to try to talk to someone. I have screenshots of conversations where I never got a reply.

The first package was returned without any notification. The second package? They’re still holding my money and haven’t offered a solution. And because these were sale items, they’re no longer available—so I lost out completely. This is not how a major company should treat customers.

Bought 5 wallflower scents yesterday afternoon for $28 ($5.60 ea) at The Paddocks in Louisville, Ky. Got an email this morning that they are on sale for $3.50 each. Called the store to ask how I could receive the $10 credit for the difference and was informed that they do not honor the post sale price difference. Bad policy, B&BW!

I recently ordered Book Loft hand soap and wallflowers. The soap was all water & no fragrance, and the same with the wallflowers. I lost 3 bottles of soap & 3 wallflowers. Extremely disappointed

I recieved an email stating to call BBW because my account had multiple log in attempts that were not me. I’ve previously had orders made on my account that went somewhere in another state. Nothing was done that was a yr ago. I have not accessed my account since. The representative hung up on me when I asked to be transferred to someone who could help. I called back another representative stated this was an error in their system. Like what is going on, I ordered from them weekly now in almost two yrs I refuse the service the system hacking etc is beyond me and the rudeness of the representatives

RUDE. Unprofessional. Immature. I can and will admit when I am wrong. Allow me to say if asking for a discount for a misplaced product was wrong then I am absolutely wrong. I would like to know why this was such an affront to your associate? If a situation is beyond your purview, your mental aptitude or pay grade call a manager. If you do not possess the mental acuity to maintain professionalism, once again, call a manager or a grown-up. Yelling snarky comments at your customers as they leave reflects poorly on your brand/store. I will personally never visit this location again. Dealing with toddlers is not something I care to do when I shop.

All of my interactions with Bath and body Works are not perfect but when I do receive something missing, opened during transit or defective in some way, I always get a free replacement with free shipping with no hassle when I get a product I don’t like I take it to a Bath and Bodyworks store and exchange it for something of equal value that I do like, the delivery service that they use is another story my items come from all different delivery companies, and always the packing and the box are damaged from rough handling and transport. which is the main reason why the items come damaged.

I purchased a $50 gift card for my wife for Christmas and it didn’t work in the store. We contacted customer service and they said the card had a balance of $0. They said it had been used but the card was sealed in an envelope with the PIN number still covered. They were unable to verify any aspect of the purchase; the store number, the items the funds were applied to, the date or the time. They said it was impossible to replace the card. I already only barely tolerated the sugary stench of bath and bodyworks in whatever dying mall I stumbled across them in and this is the perfect excuse to never shop at one again.

I am horrified at the ultra casual, completely mediocre and unprofessional service in India. I have been a customer overseas and locally & given their products are priced at a premium Its shocking how they think they can get away with this level of shoddy service.

I ordered products during the sale, the order was confirmed and paid for. Imagine my surprise when the day the sale ended i recieved an email that my order was cancelled and a refund was initiated!

When i wrote into their customer care, a lady named Priyanka casually stated that the order "must " have been cancelled because of stock availability or operational reasons. And no compensation for the inconvenience caused was possible. Tell me guys would you get away with this in another country? Whos messed up at your end, that products show up on sale and then magically sell out? Whos responsible and accountable for operational matters ? Your customer or you? With the variety of local brands easily available at far lower prices , can you afford this level of rubbish service?
Please fix your service or exit the market/ country.

Went to Bath and body Works Saturday very disappointed security man was watching me looking at candles. This get I purchased a candle stand very disappointed will not be going back no wonder the shop is empty sneaky security man

I find the whole experience of visiting this location overwhelming. Oftentimes the staff seem more interested in chatting with each other than assisting the customer. I just walked out after expressing I was overwhelmed and needed assistance. Turkey Creek Knoxville Tennessee needs to do better.

Just wanted to say how horrible this company would be to work for! Making your employees work until 6pm on the 4th of July is absolutely disgusting! Corporate ought to be ashamed of your choice to make your employees work so you can make a buck! In the meantime, you all are out enjoying your day with your families! Disgusting!

I’m very upset I received my package yesterday the box was major damaged there was not that post office received it like that half my items missing I ordered 24 items got 11 and the worst part was an aluminum foil full of peel movement I have pictures but still furious

I am writing to inform the company I can no longer support their product since it has been revealed they support abuse of animals, specifically paying a third party for dog testing

I am a regular shopper at Bath and Bodyworks, however, I won't be ordering online anymore. The packaging was subpar ~broken refills, 3-wick candles with NO wick, broken candles, and to boot. . .a free gift spray with no head. I ordered 12 refills. They were all together in a plastic bag (thin) with no bubble wrap whatsoever. It leaked all over the box. To add to the poor packaging, I called Customer Service. Bottom line, I got a credit for the damaged products but wouldn't you think for the hassle, I could at least get another free gift? Nope! Not even a replacement for the one they sent. He wanted to charge me!!! Packaging sucked and the customer service was worse. . .there wasn't any!

Very disappointed with Bath & Body Works. It’s hard to believe that Firecracker Pop, one of your signature summer fragrances, wasn’t available in ample supply leading up to the Fourth of July—especially during America’s 250th birthday celebration. This was the perfect opportunity to feature and fully stock a fragrance that fits the holiday so well, but instead customers were left empty-handed.

I even called customer service to ask why it was unavailable and was told it’s “in production now.” Unfortunately, that does little good with the Fourth of July just days away. Seasonal products should be available before the holiday, not after customers have already missed the chance to enjoy them. Bath & Body Works missed a great opportunity, and it’s disappointing for those of us who look forward to this fragrance every year. I hope next year they plan their inventory much better.

Wish I could give them a below zero. I was on hold for 3 hours. They claim they'll call u back. When they do it on hold for another hour. The site keep crashing to where u can't check ur order.

When I got a call back the person didn't say nothing we both help on for 38 minutes. I could hear n the back ground noise.

Bath n body works isn't nothing like they use to be. I left for awhile n came back like a darn fool. It's taking three weeks to get ur order n the mail r longer. Also the air have 98 ppls. What do that tell u? Their back up.

Is this a company ppls wanna deal with?
I placed a order June 26, saying I won't get my order until the 10if July.

They need to go out of business.

They have some very nasty ppls working for them. In/out of the store.

Plug ins are dangerous. They leak. And they dont want to do exchange. They never respond back to your email or chat

Bath and Body Works customer service and Violet chat is terrible! I have had my order that I placed on 6/6 returned to their warehouse twice due to insufficient address on package. I immediately reached out to them when I received the email tracking notification both by violet chat and called to speak to a representative. Both times I was assure that the address was correctly and package would be sent out again. Both times it was returned for insufficient address. Still haven’t received it!

I placed an online order, paid via credit card and paid the shipping. The order was sent to another community. When I reached out to customer service the first time, I was blamed for the mistake. The representative told me my address was wrong when I placed the order. I then reviewed my order and confirmed I typed my address correctly. I contacted customer service again and this time I was told to call the courier company myself to make it right. I guess I work for Bath and Body Works now? Is this my job? No. I’m the customer. A little effort goes a long way. Fighting with them over a lost $40 order is not worth my time. But I will never do business with them again.

I ordered products during their semi-annual sale. The contents arrived tossed all over the inside of the box. This is the second time I’ve ordered from them. The first time the contents leaked and the gift bag for the items came busted. I had to return the products to the store. I decided to give them another shot. Yet again the contents are all over the place. They do not secure the contents of the shipment. Whatever policy they have they need to change it. Packaging materials would be great. Do better. And it took over a week 1/2 to receive this foolishness.

Gonna shop at Victoria’s Secret from now on.
