Shoes are of excellent quality. Customer service is present as well.

It has been over two weeks and my shoes still haven't even been dispatched. I messaged customer service and only received a generic apology, which says they have a usually high number of orders and that I just need to be patient. I think I've been patient enough to this point!
Just want the shoes now - if this is such an issue, maybe Ballerette should change the information on their website that says packages are delivered within 3-5 business days. Clearly that is not the case!!!

I bought a pair of flats that are 235 dollars and I got them used. Someone stretched one out and you can tell there are creases in the shoe. When I asked about how they are going to fix it they said they can’t control what the courier does ignoring the fact that they sent me used shoes. I would not recommend buying from them they customer service and quality control is terrible!!!

Customer service is really horrible! They will ghost you if you need to return/exchange a product and the sizing chart is way way off!!! I ordered a pair of size 37 ballerinas (supposed to be 23.5 cm, wine color). They came within 1 week; the shoes are size 37 but actually 24.8 cm so they don’t even fit and are way bigger than advertised on their website. On top of that, they don’t look like the pictures and are more of a lilac colour rather than wine. I’ve been trying to sort this out with the company for 2 months, I reached out the day I received my package and have gotten close to no replies. I got 1 reply and it took one week and then they ghosted me so now I have no way to access the return portal to ask for an exchange and I’ve tried contacting the company 7-8 times since by email, the contact form on their website and even their instagram account.. This is really a bummer and I am extremely disappointed because I wanted to love the shoes and would’ve loved an exchange to a pair my actual size but now I am stuck with a pair of flats I can’t even wear..

Sinceramente non sono intenzionata a perdere i soldi per un paio di sandali che ho pagato, vista la qualità, molto scadenti.

Livraison tardive, ballerine non conforme en couleurs, taille au doigt mouillé

Ho acquistato un paio di ballerine e un paio di sandali la cui PELLE (nella descrizione delle scarpe si legge pelle)dei cinturini si è rovinata nel momento stesso in cui le ho indossate.
Idem quando ho indossato le ballerine, le parti in pelle subito rovinate! Dire che sono delusa e seccata è poco. Leggendo altre recensioni ho capito che capita spesso, ne deduco che qualcosa non va sicuramente nella scelta dei materiali (Non è pelle!). La certezza è che non acquisterò più nulla da Ballerette. Soldi buttati.

It’s been over a month and I still don’t have my shoes. Contact them 3 times, first time they got back to me and said it would be out for delivery soon. Now weeks has past and have heard nothing from them and still don’t have my shoes.

I ordered shoes from this online store on June 2. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the reviews beforehand. The amount was charged to my PayPal account on June 5. More than two weeks later, the order still hasn’t been shipped. I contacted customer service to ask about the status of my order, but they just kept telling me that my order was supposedly being processed. I received the same response again today. Today I canceled my order and now have to go through the process of getting a refund... I suspect this might be a scam. At the very least, the service is absolutely terrible. Don’t let the pretty shoes on the website blind you. I hope this post will help protect other potential buyers from losing money.

The shoes I ordered online cut into my feet and were painful , despite requesting a refund it took many many weeks for the company to send a DHL label . After receiving the shoes back they didn’t issue my refund and stopped replying to my messages . After 30 days since the shoes had been received back by Ballerette , I sent messages on all social media platforms and finally got a fast response and my refund . However as this took 7 weeks and from when I first requested it with considerable chasing , I’m very disappointed by this from a well known brand.

È quasi una settimana che cerco di contattare il customer service per effettuare un reso, ma non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta. Ho provato anche a chiamare il numero fornito da PayPal, ma nessuno risponde.

La situazione è molto frustrante perché sto cercando di restituire l'articolo nei tempi previsti e ottenere il rimborso a cui avrei diritto, ma l'assenza totale di assistenza da parte del venditore mi sta di fatto impedendo di completare la procedura di reso.

Sto cercando di risolvere la situazione tramite PayPal, ma mi è stato comunque richiesto di tentare un contatto diretto con il venditore, che continua a NON RISPONDERE

Non avevo mai avuto un esperienza come questa nonstante compro tutto online. Un servizio clienti completamente assente e un'esperienza di acquisto estremamente negativa

I ordered some ballet flats 27th April and only received a full refund In my bank account today 11th June.

I have had no end of problems with this company i recommend you don’t use them.

The courier company lost my package and when I asked for help my emails were ignored. So I worked with the courier company, they located the package and resent.

It arrived but was completely wrong style and size I ordered. I sent back straight away.

The courier said it was delivered and signed for but took me chasing them a few times for them to confirm they received the return.

Didn’t give them just one star because I received a full refund including shipping but was a complete waste of time!

Update: To apologise they contacted me to apologise and resend the shoes free of charge. I thought wow that is so kind. But the courier company they use has lost the package again, and though they have been Cc’d in the correspondence they have said absolutely nothing!

Update 08/26 The courier company blamed them and said they never received anything from them. They said they would send me original pair I ordered if I update my review, that was weeks ago and still nothing!

I followed up with Ballerette to inquire about the status of my refund for a return that was noted as received on their end. The customer service representative misunderstood my request and responded that they went ahead and deleted the record of my return! Can you image?!

The tracking status for my return went from being received to ‘package waiting for pickup’ at the address that they had me ship to. Now, when i look up my order number on their website it appears as though I never initiated a return or shipped it back,

I have followed up with customer service and am waiting on their response before following up with my bank. Order with a company with better customer service. Save yourself the extreme hassle and possible financial loss.

This is way too much hassle for a slightly cheaper version of Repetto.

Absolutely not recommended!

I paid €165 for the Ballerette Mary Jane model from the Milan store, and after just 15 minutes of wearing them, they badly rubbed the backs of my calves, causing painful sores and discomfort. I contacted customer service by email, but instead of offering a refund or any meaningful solution, they simply suggested that I wait for the injuries to heal and then try wearing the shoes again.

I followed their advice, waited until my skin had healed, and wore the shoes a second time. Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened. As a result, I have no choice but to throw the shoes away because they are simply unwearable.

For a product that cost €165, this is completely unacceptable. The quality, comfort, and customer service were all extremely disappointing.

The worst-quality ballerina shoes I have ever purchased.

Paid $35 in shipping/return shipping when there was no chance of these shoes fitting. Sizing guides are inaccurate. I'm a US 9.5 and their size 10 was massive, and their size 9 was so small I couldn't get my feet in. Wouldn't recommend ordering here if you're a half size. It also took so long to get exchanges/return labels sent: they wouldn't send labels until I followed up 2-3 times via email. Took over 2 weeks to get refunded for my return which didn't happen until I followed up. All around was a headache of an ordering experience and I lost $35 when plenty of other brands offer free exchanges and returns

it’s nearly been 2 weeks i’ve sent 3 messages because my item has not even dispatched yet and i’ve gotten no response, shipping is forever i don’t know when i’ll even receive it

yep so after only looking at this review did they decide to check and said the courier lost my package- idk if i even believe that but now idk how long it will take to come

Die Schuhe sind zwar schön, bei dem schlechten Kundenservice und Aufwand für eine Retoure lohnt sich das Bestellen von der Onlineseite direkt aber auf keinen Fall. Ich habe verschiedene Größen zusammen bestellt, ein Karton kam schon mal beschädigt an. Um die nicht passenden Schuhe zurückzuschicken, habe ich den Kundenservice kontaktiert, der allerdings auf mehrere Mails nicht geantwortet hat. Daher habe ich über 2 verschiedene Mailadressen versucht, eine Antwort zu bekommen, um diese Schuhe endlich wieder loszuwerden… Eine Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Kurier war auch nach Wochen nicht möglich, obwohl von Ballerette versprochen. Zu guter letzt soll ich statt den angekündigten 15€ für die Rücksendung nun 28,90€ zahlen, die auch nicht übernommen werden, trotz des nervigen Aufwandes. Ich würde nie wieder von Ballerette direkt bestellen, wenn dann nur über Zalando o.ä. Extrem nerviges Verfahren.

I placed a large order (for seven pairs of shoes!) for approx £950 for an order to the UK. Days passed and I heard nothing about dispatch. When I finally contacted them - they advised they were out of stock of one item. I selected a replacement and asked them to send the order. Several more days passed and the same thing happened again (another pair out of stock). This time I asked for a refund for one pair, but still they didn't send the remainder. I started to become really distressed and disappointed. It is impossible to speak to anyone, they take days to reply to emails (if at all). I have contacted them daily pleading with them to dispatch my order. I was told yesterday by DHL, but still NOTHING. It has now been over two weeks. They have a huge amount of my money and have not even the courtesy to send the order, or even call me to explain or apologise. What am I supposed to do? Is this company a scam? I have never had such a poor experience. I'm not sure I will ever receive my shoes.

EDIT: Two days after I posted this review and raised a dispute with PayPal, my shoes were miraculously dispatched and reached me by next day delivery (which they honoured at no additional cost to me). They also kindly refunded the original postage cost and issued me a voucher for a future purchase. The shoes are absolutely beautiful - everything I hoped they would be (I sized up from 38 to 39 and felt this was a good fit).

I have extremely mixed feelings about this company - their product is beautiful and worth the high price, but the customer service and communication is so poor. It was exactly 3 weeks from purchase to delivery - this is crazy! I don't know how a business can function in this way.

i placed an order for a pair of Ballarette shoes (4 May 2026) however it's been over a week and the company still has not dispatched my item. I reached out to customer service via the forms THREE times, so far only received one reply that didn't give any details or assurance as to when they would ship the item. I followed, but no response.

I find the customer service really terrible - especially when the shoes are expensive. Save your money and buy somewhere else with better service.

I still don't know if i am EVER going to get my shoes. I really don't mean to leave a bad review, however I had no choice... no one is getting back to me and this has been stressing me out.
