Alex was super helpful with getting the bike set up and explaining how everything worked with suspension adjustment, the motor etc. being my 1st EMTB bike. Would definitely come back here again.

Great service and knowledgeable staff
I went to the shop 3 times to discuss bike options. On each occasion the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to test ride my chosen bike which is a great facility.

Bought a bike there using the cycle…
Bought a bike there using the cycle scheme. I thought it was going to be a real pain to get sorted, but everyone at Balfe's was super helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Such an easy interaction with gentle
Such an easy interaction with gentle, nice staff, job done, messaged me when it was, good price, easy collection. Just a breezy experience all round.

Brake replacement / adjustment
I took my bike in for a repair on my brakes, as they were noisy and spongy. After a couple of hours, I got a call back from the bike technician explaining the issues and the options to fix it. I was kept informed throughout the process, when the parts arrived in etc, and got my bike back in a week's time. Bike rides great and the brakes feel better than before!
Added bonus, the great music that they had in store!

I used the click & collect service to order some lights. My order was ready for me when I arrived. All very painless and saved me the delivery charge.

Good service but felt rushed at collection
They have always had a very good service and are keen to be helpful and give you the best advice for the requirements you have. The only reason it is not a 5 star review this time, is because when collecting my bike, the team in the shop on that time was in a hurry to dismiss me, and I had to ask for help with the bike fitting, to adjust the handle. It did not feel natural, I had to keep pushing for this service.

Could have communicated much better…
Could have communicated much better about when my bike would be available for pickup. Yet the work was done well, staff friendly and helpful. Would go back. Just communicate more proactively.

I had a great experience …
I had a great experience with this bike service! The team was professional, friendly, and really knew what they were doing. They quickly found the problem with my bike and fixed it perfectly. The gears and brakes now work smoothly, and the bike rides like new again. The prices are fair, and the communication was excellent throughout the process. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants quality service and honest people.

Cable replacement
I had my front gear cable replaced. The job was completed quickly and they charged me the standard £20 for service and £6 for the cable.
