ATS Euromaster - Cambridge Retail Anmeldelser 

I ordered 4 new tyres online to be fitted at a local centre in Cambridge. I paid £425 using PayPal, I received an email confirmation with the date and time to have the tyres fitted. 3 days later I went to the centre to get the tyres fitted. When i arrived the guy at the counter asked how he can help, I said I have an appointment for 4 new tyres to be fitted, asked for my name, he said there is no appointment for that name, asked for my registration, told the same, bought up email confirmation on my phone, he never looked and said he found the order. He then proceeded to tell me that he has not ordered in the tyres, as no appointment had been made, even though I have got the email confirmation. He said he can order the tyres fitted in but won’t be this side of the weekend. When asked how long he said that he will know when he makes the call. This guys got great attitude……Not! He made the call and I was told the earliest day would be Tuesday, and fitting can be arranged on Wednesday. I have him the times I was available and then I was told it would be at least an hour to fit 4 tyres. I’ve have 2 tyres fitted to my car in the past in less that 15 minutes and other garages yet this guy wants a minimum of an hour for 4! I then said no worries let’s book it for the following week when I will have more time, to which I the got told that that won’t work for him and the centre is closing down. The centre in question is the one on Histon Road in Cambridge.

He then said that he can arrange a refund, I said ok, and left.

I the called the customer service centre asking what the hell is going on, she told me that they do not order the tyres, that is down to the centre itself. I then explained what had happened, she said I need to take it up with the centre, I said that was no good as the centre will be closing in 2 weeks, she then said there is nothing she can do. I then asked about my refund she said it can take 5 days and they do not send out any email to confirm the refund.

This was the first and last time I will deal with ATS Euromaster. The lack of professionalism and customer service was abysmal. I never even got an apology for their errors. They did not care at all about what had happened, happy to take my money but not too quick in returning it.

I also found out that the tyres that I had ordered for my car would not have been suitable, therefore if they had have been fitted it would have been a waste of money.

I would rate my experience as 5 star, with a BIG FAT minus in front.

Battery not fitted correctly. Tool left behind the bonnet. Promised a partial refund which didn't happen.

Wanting new rear pads at the end of December, the earliest they could book was 20th Jan. When I arrived they asked if it had an automatic handbrake, and said "in that case we can't do it".

They have had three weeks with my car model, reg and my contact details to tell me this, but waited for me to turn up 20 miles from home, to break the bad news.

Fantastic service, they went the extra mile to accommodate me and managed to fit me in a day earlier than planned. Definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

I went in late on Tuesday and found there was a bolt in my tyre. They ordered a replacement and fitted the new tyre the next day at the time I was booked in. Very efficient

The staff are so helpful and friendly and patient with nothing too much trouble when I asked for help and had lots of questions - I have been so impressed and reassured.

I took my car today to the Cambridge branch to replace 2x tires, wheel alignment, wheel balancing (where I clearly mentioned that wheels were badly balanced 2 weeks ago by the guys from Halfords) and to put front wheels to the back axle.

What went wrong:
- When I received my car back, the steering wheel was off center.... Fortunately they didn't say a word and re-did the job again
- Wheels balancing is worse than it was when I arrived (despite I have asked to do that properly!!!)
- Each tire had been inflated wrong - it should be 38 PSI (sticker on the drivers side!) and it was: left wheel 36PSI, right wheel 32PSI
- Steering wheel was dirty as they didn't use the glows nor was it done by someone who had clean hands....
- Driver internal part of door was dirty with kind of grease... - comment as above...

In the end of the day they didn't say sorry for losing my time when they had to fix bad wheel alignment nor for the job done wrongly done.

By reading all those positive comments I'm sure they are fake. This company write them themselves to be on the top of the list on Trustpilot and are not verified in any way.

I feel the repairs on my car I was overcharged and the labour costs to be charged for each piece of work hourly instead of 1 charge for overall work and the parts charge have since learnt well overcharged

Despite being short-staffed and under pressure,the tyres were replaced in a reasonable amount of time.

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I noticed on the receipt, after, that I was charged for disposal of 2 tyres. However, I kept 1, as it was still in good condition.

Fantastic garage, a great team, excellent speedy service & always reliable.

The customer service was great. I was given comprehensive advice about a slow puncture and booked my car in for a couple of days later. It was repaired efficiently and I was able to drive away secure that the tyre was repaired well. Thank you, ATS.
