We are a family-run removals & storage company based in Essex. Our conveniently located depot is on the outskirts of Chelmsford and has excellent links to London and local towns including Maldon, Billericay, Rayleigh, Wickford and South Woodham Ferrers. We provide quality packing & moving services to residential and commercial clients to all parts of the UK. Our modern 5000 square foot storage facility is secure, insulated and temperature controlled. We can provide safe solutions for storage requirements for any term. We are a full member of the British Association of Removers and have been audited and approved by the Essex Trading Standards’ ‘Buy with confidence’ scheme. We provide free quotations, which can be obtained following a visit to your home, or by following instructions for a video survey.

What can I say apart from A Class, as an Estate Agent i deal with this every day, having now used their service for myself, i can only say brilliant, form the initial meeting for the quote, to the day we moved, they took the stress away, the guys are great, we had a really nice day, lots of laughs, it really made the day enjoyable. Brilliant service from start to finish.
Survey was arranged and completed quickly with a quotation emailed the next morning.
Dan and George were great on move day with everything being moved quickly and carefully.

Atkinson removals are a local company who were very helpful from the first contact with them to the final point of contents removed.
This is a family run company and were very understanding while my contract were being exchanged and completion. The were in contact with all the time and then on the day of removal the fellows turned up and had all my contents packed and in their van in four hours. All very polite and efficient. I would recommend Atkinson and use them again. Polite, professional and friendly.

This company were great. We were very anxious as hadn't moved for 30years. They turned up and reassured us and we just left them to get on with it. They cover the front door for damage limitation. Put down carpet protector. Cover the TV. They were all polite, courteous and professional. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Absolutely amazing wonderful team. Dan and george were absolutely brilliant very polite, chatty and friendly, They worked so hard and were very thorough. Brilliant from phone call to us moving and we moved over 250 miles. Would highly recommend them. Thank you guys from zoe and Kevin in fleetwood.

I recently relocated from Romford to Rayleigh and were recommended Akinson Removals by a friend.
I was very impressed with the service at every step of the way.
Obtaining a quote was a simple as recording a video narrating what items are to be transported. They were very flexible and accommodating to getting our dates booked in due to the uncertainty of our purchase.
The team arrived in Akinson branded uniform and were professional, friendly and ensured our belongings were transported with the upmost care.
They put the relevant boxes and furniture in the rooms they would be staying in while unloading which really saves a lot of time when unpacking your belongings in your new home.

I recently relocated from Thurrock to Harwich. Atkinson Removals quotation was reasonable. They arrived early on the day of the move. The three man team worked extremely hard. They were very careful with the delicate items. All three were helpful, competent and efficient. My son met them at Harwich for the unloading. He could not stop commending their praises.
