After years of overspending on brands hoping the price would be reflected in quality I am really glad to have come across Archibald and to discover I can actually get the exceptional quality and service I look for without having to pay for a logo. I got my Weekender bag a week ago and I must say I am really impressed. I can say with certainty that this is a bag I will be using for a long time and not only because it will last but I don’t really see myself parting with it anytime soon. Amazing!

I've bought (and lost) countless pairs of premium sunglasses over the years and the quality of these is on par with any I have bought in the past. I usually opted for Cutler and Gross as my go to brand as I'm from London, but in Archibald I've now found a quality alternative available at a reasonable price.
The home try on kit arrived on time, I opted for the Ferguson in "Havana Brown" and I am very happy with the tortoise shell. The frame and lens both being "Made in Japan" reassure me they are built to last. I will be buying my next pair from Archibald when I inevitably lose these.

After buying a pair of glasses from Archibald a year ago, I fell in love with their products as not only was the quality amazing but they really captured that timeless elegance I look for in my purchases. I was really happy when I found out they were expanding their offering into cashmere essentials as they some of my favourites, can't really go wrong with one. I was impressed with the quality of the stole which I got and glad that I can finally purchase these types of products at the right price. Also, impeccable customer service!! Looking forward to seeing what they bring out next.

I bought a pair of sunglasses from Archibald a few months ago and I was very happy with the quality of the product and the customer service. More recently, I received a newsletter from the company saying that they started producing products other than eyewear, but based on the same philosophy (from what I understood, they promote ultra high-quality craftsmanship keeping the prices down by cutting out the middlemen) so I decided to browse the website again. I was really surprised by the new collections (cashmere products from Scotland and leather goods from Italy) and fell in love with the new "Phileas weekender". I'm currently saving money to buy it!

I had a really negative experience with Archibald. I ordered a few pairs of home try-on sunglasses, and was disappointed to see that none of the "dummy" lenses were tinted. I emailed them about my concern, and told them that even if the lenses were not real, they should at least be tinted if the customer has selected the sunglasses product. I received an extremely rude, typo-ridden response from the founder that was insulting and showed a serious lack of professional tact. Here's a quote from the email: " Some people look for the solution and others just want to ignore logic and reason. You seem to be the latter." He continued by calling me "rude" and "lacking common courtesy" because I gave them direct, honest feedback that wasn't what he wanted to hear. He then started grumbling about how he is "rolling out of bed" at 7:30 am to message me, and how I should be so grateful that he's even taking the time to do this. Never in my email did I mention it was urgent or that it required immediate attention. I was simply giving straightforward feedback, and the founder decided to become defensive and indignant for basically no reason. As a result, I will never be ordering from this brand, and would advise anyone to get glasses elsewhere.

Archibald has the best built quality I have ever seen in eyewear. I have owned my glasses for about two years and the glasses looks like the day I bought them. Very happy with their product. Only thing I can suggest is to have more wider glasses in the lineup. The only one that fit me is the Walsh 51. Other than that, Archibald is top notch! 👌

The frames are handmade frames which have a totally different and very smooth handfeel compared to machine manufactured frames, the details such as the hinges are very tight, the edges align perfectly, all are signs the frame is very nicely done, the material is also very light and very comfortable to wear for an extended period of time, totally love the brand and its quality, to get this level of Japanese high quality handmade frame at the sub $200 price point is an absolutely great buy!

I am not in the habit of reviewing products online but the service I have received from Archibald Optics warrants some praise. Not only is the business model incredibly convenient, but the product really is the best quality I have come across and the service is outstanding.

In an age where customer care can be taken for granted, Archibald Optics stands out from the crown offering a service worth its weight in gold.

I was looking for eye glasses that I could keep on my pocket, I wanted something that was small and somewhat flexible. I found them at Archibald. There was a problem with shipping so I reached out to customer service. They were very responsive, helpful and apologetic. It did take some extra days to get to me, but I was always in contact with them and they kept me up to date.

The glasses themselves are of amazing quality and were still less expensive than the ones I've gotten from optometrists. Not only that, they were excellent at replying to my emails quickly and they even sent me something extra for pointing out an error.

I don't usually write reviews and when I do it is normally on Amazon to complain. The experience with Archibald was so perfect that I don't have anything to complain about so find myself in a rather odd position.

From my first communication regarding my in-home trial pairs to my final frames arriving at the office, Archibald Optics have never been short of outstanding. They aren't even meant to ship to Australia, yet here I am, in Australia, with a pair of their quality Japanese-made frames fitted with my perfect prescription, on my head as I write this.

They went out of their way to communicate with me when it was convenient to me, which at times was extremely early in the morning or late at night for them.

As for the frames? They are reassuringly sturdy, have a lovely sheen to them, and are flawlessly finished. They weren't cheap, but for the quality, they are remarkable value.

If you want value and quality with service to boot, you owe it to yourself to purchase from Archibald Optics.

These are by far the best glasses I have ever owned, and they are half the price of what I would purchase at a local optics store. AO produces great products and offers superior service.

Found Archibald in various places on the internet and liked the story. Investigated and the glasses looked good. Sent many emails to clarify this and that. Always got prompt and helpful replies. Ordered 3 pairs and they turned up quickly, they are very good quality and I am very happy with them. I would order again from Archibald and can recommend them to you.

Was looking for a particular style of quality, glasses at a reasonable price. I knew what I wanted and didn't want to mess about trying on a million different marginally different glasses at extortionate prices. AO makes that possible. Online, Somme and excellent quality. No complaints here and will come back again as well as recommend to others.

I found Archibald Optics through an article is the WSJ. Good experience, nice product, and I'm wearing the glasses now.
