Bought a Powersmart Mower in July of 2024, and the engine is seized. They won't take care of it per their warranty. The only options are to send it to them, or drive 3 hours to the nearest repair shop they use, either choice at my expense. They've not offered any real help, and all the conversations they're basically wanting me to drop it and just eat the $300 I paid.
I bought a PowerSmart lawn mower 5 years back. The plastic belt housing broke for some reason and so grass was getting stuck in the drive belt and making it come out.
The part was not available on their website anymore for that model. I contacted support through email and they were able to find a compatible part for me to order. They were able to coordinate with the warehouse for my order to get processed.
Although the new part is a little different from the original, it seems to fit.
Amerisun or Powersmart go under two names. I have a Powersmart lawn mower (2 years old, with a 3-year warranty) I needed a front cover for the mower. I ordered it three times (paying for it) and talked to their customer service several times telling me the part was on its way. Finally, service representative said they did not have the part and did not know when they would.
terrible company to deal with. bought a mower on Amazon from this company and their customer service is horrible. Do not ever buy from this company. You will be very sorry.
As a past executive for an equipment manufacturer, it is appropriate to say that the customer service is abhorrent. I called to order an in-stock replacement wheel for their Powersmart lawn mower brand. It took three calls to finally reach a representative. The average hold time was 35 minutes. Two of the three times, when it was my turn to talk to a representative, the system told me to leave a voice mail, and I was then disconnected. The third time, I reached a representative after being on the long hold. The parts order was placed, and I paid to have it shipped via FedEx. It's been 13 days, and I have not received the part.
During the past 5 days: A) I have patiently left a message on the website and multiple voicemails for a shipment update and a callback, with no response. B) During the several calls for the shipment update, I've again waited on hold for an average of 35 minutes. Again, after waiting my turn to speak with a representative, I received an automated message telling me to leave a voicemail and was disconnected. C.) I still have not been able to speak with a representative about a shipment update (it's been 13 days). D) I am again on hold and waiting to speak with a representative. E) My turn to speak with a representative just occurred; I was disconnected.
Avoid this company and it's products like the plague.
I have been trying to get a part for my powersmart lawnmower for over a month. It took two weeks of being on hold, only to be hung up on after 50 minutes on several occasions I finally got someone and ordered and paid for the part I was assured the part was in stock 8 days later , no part , emailed to check status Got an email stating the part was not in stock , do I want to wait for it to be back in stock ? How about NO, waiting for refund Have opened case with BBB and Atty Gen
This company is a sham. WARNING: Do not buy any products from this company. They sent me defective batteries. When I call customer service to request new replacement batteries (and return the old ones), no one answers. On hold for 45 minutes with 6 people in front of me. When I came up, no one answered and went right back to the original message. This company should be investigated for fraud.
Just read all the complaints at BBB and any where else who shows reviews.Along with Powersmart they are the worst .Shaby products,lawn mowers fall apart ,mostly wheels breaking(3 sets rear wheels broke on my mower)and tension springs flying off and more.The phones nobody picks up after being on hold for 30 plus minutes then hang up.All emails answered are delay tactics .I have been waiting over a month for a refund that was to come within 10-15 buisness days,and then we go around again with repeated responses.The rip you off.The are a scam.
I purchased a lawnmower that was delivered on September 28, 2022. It developed some issues (won't start when hot) and on June 21, 2023 the plastic casing broke. I cannot use the lawnmower anymore because the blade is touching the ground. The item is supposed to come with 3-year warranty, but when I called 800.791.9458, a customer service number, I was on hold for 40 minutes and had to hang up.
