I stayed with a Spanish host family in Pozuelo and they were great, as well as their house.
The organization through aluni was quick and efficient and the price is worth it. They also always responded to my emails in an appropriate time.
I only deduct one star because you cannot cancel your contract earlier, you have to stay until the end to get your desposit back. And in my case that would have been 6 weeks of unnecessary rent because the university communicated the exam dates wrong.

Es una empresa muy formal y segura. Nunca tuve ningún tipo de problema ni cuando llegué, ni cuando salí.

Siempre con buena actitud y resolutivos. Te da seguridad y confianza. Todo lo que te encuentras en el piso se muestra en la página web tal cual y también cumple con todos los servicios perfectamente. Sin duda volvería a usar Aluni para encontrar piso de nuevo :)

Estuve buscando pisos y habitaciones baratas durante meses y al final llegó el día en el que tenía que mudarme y no tenía aún piso. Menos mal que estaba en el extranjero y por lo menos estaba en un hotel. Así que cuando ya no sabía que hacer vi un anuncio de ALUNI y sin pensarlo miré los pisos y alquilé uno. Lo pagué a través de PayPal por si acaso. Y en un rato después se puso una chica en contacto conmigo para verificar los datos y decirme que todo estaba ok. La atención 10/10 y el piso barato y cómodo para mi primer año siendo independiente en Madrid. Sin lugar a a dudas la mejor web para conseguir un piso como estudiante.

my experience with aluni was really good from beginning till the end. They helped me a lot for everything and the room was available it was the same as they show in pictures. It was super clean and they care a lot for every details.

Made finding an apartment, payments, and getting back my deposit easy. I also participated in 2 of their weekend events and had a great time. There are many housing scams in Madrid, and the small fee for Aluni is worth the security. No problems getting my deposit back either.

Experiencia muy buena, en el horario de trabajo son siempre disponibles y contestan rápido, aclaran dudas. Cada mes recuerdan que hay que hacer el pago durante los primeros días para evitar que se nos olvide, y siempre avisan con antelación cuando deben haber visitas al piso (ya sea del dueño, fontanero, persianero…). Y el servicio de limpieza de las zonas comunes también es muy bueno.

Porque el piso estaba muy cerca de la universidad, muy bien ubicado para acceder a restaurantes, bares y transporte público.
El único detalle es que era sótano y no permitía buena ventilación.
