𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬: Misleading Sales Practices
𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. I texted with Daniel. I stated I'm from out of state and don't do add-ons. I received a reply of thank you. Amir was no less forthcoming about the actual condition, price, and became confrontational when I questioned their selling practices. He then said they've had the car for 1 week when it was 3 weeks. Tomfoolery.
The CarFax stated 6 owners, one significant accident, and notable maintenance gaps according to the service schedule. They refused to lower the price. On their site, info was concealed.
-$1,499 Dealer Processing Fee: The highest in U.S.
-Stated Clean CARFAX however there is 1 accident
-No Inspection Report
-No Reconditioning Report
Their car's listing shows a "Retail Price" minus "Savings" for a "One Time Payment." Unless you qualify for all discounts COMBINED of Military, Government Employee, Student and VA resident YOU PAY the retail price. Absurd. Some of the most misleading pricing I've seen that is 𝐁𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡.
Here's what the car listing had:
-Retail Price: $26,900
-Savings: $5,000
-Sales Price of $21,900
At the better business bureau, their graded as C-.
At 26,900 plus tax, title etc, it would put the car thousands over value well into negative equity. I would be upside down on the loan. I gave Alpha Motorsports of Manassas an opportunity to work with me in good faith but they chose not to.
