Allica Bank has been absolutely exceptional since we joined. The human to human service they provide is something that's rarely seen these days, and has made a real difference to our business.

The biggest benefit for us has been how straightforward and efficient the asset finance process has been. A special thank you to Shannon and Peter, who have consistently gone above and beyond to support us whenever needed.

Allica went above and beyond to help with our hire purchase of two new machines we needed. Alex (Central Relationship Manager) was very attentive and kept us informed at every process. Finance went through very quickly and we were up and running again without any delay.

Suddenly started charging a "low balance fee" for those who have an average balance of less than £10.000 in the account.

Opened an account when they had 4.2% interest and it’s gone down and down now paying 2.3%. They just use the interest and the card cashback to draw people in. Lucky enough I didn’t fall for the payment cards and went with Monzo who have been great.

I also took out a 500k loan with Allica and have been paying back lumps. It’s like trying to draw blood from a stone dealing with their customer service when I’m paying large overpayments!

Just poor service. I expect customer service to reply within 24 hours but honestly the replies are like 7-10 days apart.

Please Allica sort out your customer service afcustomer.services as it’s shocking!

Ben Homans was a pleasure to deal with from the get go. Nothing was every too much trouble and he was always on hand to answer any questions i had still to this day. All round great experience.

So fast and easy to get the finance

Regrettably, my experience to date has been very disappointing. They will need to work hard to win my confidence.

I have Allica Bank staff who dealt with my application, very helpful, to the point and prompt. Obviously the formalities has to be followed, but I was kept informed of the process. Very happy and satisfied with the service I received and it was refreshing after 50 years of banking with main stream high street banks. I found their on line banking and App very easy to use.

Update. No one queried from Allica Bank as expected.

Their promotion is not accurate. They try to bring you in as a client promising quite high rates, when you actually open an account rates are much lower with a series of excuses like "oh that bank is not in our list, only if you spend this much money" which could have been explained before, but you cannot check those until you open the account.

In addition, you can actually get better savings rate from Allica on third party platforms like Insignis, which is quite troubling in terms of lack of transparency and ethical conduct.

We are moving our business out of the bank, and slowly closing the account.

Quick and painless swap from my previous bank with whom I'd been with for 25 years and was costing a fortune! It's so nice going back to how it started with a relationship manager and easy to use systems, fast, reliable and efficient, how it should be and no cost involved apart from to us in the form of interest and cash back, well done Allica, we highly recommend you and pass this information on.

Allica has been a breath of fresh air compared to the usual business banking options. The people are helpful, easy to deal with and actually understand what businesses need. The systems are straightforward, efficient and make day-to-day banking much easier.

The fees, interest rates and cashback features are also a massive positive for our business and make a real difference compared to what we have been used to elsewhere.

Overall, a great experience so far and exactly the kind of business banking support companies need.

Great experience dealing with people that take the time to get to know our business and our specific needs. Follow up and support are great as well to ensure the switch process was smooth from end to end. The usability of all the banking tools is so much simpler than other banking giants that have multiple departments for different business banking requirements. A great choice!

The app is very user friendly and the interest gained is very welcome. There feels to be a very personal touch to the process and it’s been very refreshing to experience this having had virtually zero interaction from my main stream bank for a lot of years
