Customer Service is appalling
Customer Service is appalling. Called yesterday looking for a new car on pcp, a lady took my details but needed a salesman. She said she would call me back in 10 minutes, no call ever came. Wouldn’t buy a car from them if it was free now, that’s just totally rude and unprofessional
No repair under warranty for failed shock absorber
Took my car into Ford Allen Swindon when rear shock absorber was leaking oil, the car is under warranty. They refused to even look at it under warranty said it’s the road and pot holes and we will not consider it under the warranty it just normal use. Car only done 20000 mls and shocks should last 50-100,000 and 5-10 years.
Had to get the car repaired myself, now following up the failure to honour the warranty with the Motor Ombudsman who has agreed to investigate. Poor customer service from Ford.
March 2024 - Ombudsman found in my favour, but Ford not accepting. The case is ongoing!
UPDATE - well it took until April 2025 but Ford UK were instructed by the Ombudsman to refund me for the cost of the shock absorber replacement and I have now received the payment, with Ford not accepting liability but sending a "Goodwill" payment.
Very bad service Allen Ford Coventry
I service my car in February 2023 at Allen Ford Coventry, they done service but said to me car have oil leaking in gearbox we can't do today so you book again i book in march 2023 . They give me curtsy car and hold my car. Call me after nearly two week you're car is ready. When I drive my car 5th gear was not worked I go back they said to me drop here and pick tomorrow after two days they call me to collect your car. When I drive my 5th gear make a noise and still gearbox leaking. I call them they said you rebook again they give me date after one month later. They repair that gearbox leakage but 5th gear noise still comes, I go again they said book a new appointment ok I done after one month later, I go that day one engineer drive my car and recognise what's problem. They told me we no have time now you rebook again ok I book again after one month when I go today September 2023 they told me I need to pay £500 because they need to come out car gearbox and investigate. I said its not my fault whey I pay but they not lesion. Last 6th month they give me stress So now I think I need to take help consumers courts. Its my bad experience with Allen Ford Coventry.

Bought a 2019 Ford Kuga Vignale from Slough, salesman Shah was excellent from day one, nothing at all was too much trouble and through knowledgeable on his products, it’s a breath of fresh air to have a salesman who has a light side to his personality which makes the whole experience more relaxed and never under pressure to buy. Appalling Service
They tried to pull a fast one. They wanted to recoup their £250 they put into deal by claiming car had sold but could get me another but I would have to pay £250 delivery.
When it arrives quickly the next day alarm bells rang so I asked for proof of delivery, I was then offered refund LOL
They also claimed they sent documents to sign, I never received nothing!!
I enquired with Salesman & General Sales Manager, I might as well be talking to a brick wall because they never sent them.

From the moment I showed interest in the car, It was just smooth sailing with the process, Wayne and Alex from the Team where very clear with the instructions needed to proceed. All my questions where answered straight away, and I did not have any issues or doubts about buying the car.
I received a follow up call straight away letting me know if I had any problems to get in touch right away.
