I commissioned two MTM suits and a sports jacket from Alexandra Wood during 2020. All were tailored to my specification, they were exquisitely made and fit perfectly. Alex has a desire to make her customers feel good in what they wear. She has certainly achieved this for me. It was great to have the 'Savile Row' experience at her shop in Bishops Stortford rather than venture into London. No compromise here, just a wonderful experience.

Perfection! Alexandra tailored the three piece wedding suit and tailored shirts for me and my best man. From the beginning, we were made to feel comfortable, welcome and relaxed, unlike in some tailors. Alexandra was patient, polite and understood what we were looking for without overwhelming or complicating things for us. She is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. The quality of the material and the fit was unlike anything I had worn before and I felt the best I had ever felt in a set of clothes, which was very important on my wedding day. The Bishops Stortford shop is stylish and we never felt rushed there. I’d recommend Alexandra and the team to anybody looking for casual or formal tailoring, they won’t disappoint!

A few years back I went in to buy a shirt, now I get everything from Alexandra Wood.

I had my first ever made to measure suit from Alexandra last month. Alexandra made the slightly daunting process of deciding on materials and style enjoyable with her honest advice and deep experience of tailoring. I picked up the finished suit two weeks ago and I can genuinely say it is one of the best things I have ever bought. It is incredibly comfortable to wear and makes you look significantly better than you should reasonably expect to. Fantastic service from start to finish and a superb suit.

I'm absolutely delighted with both my suit and the service I received from Alexandra. I've had 2 made-to-measure suits previously - from different companies - and felt that I wasn't really listened too, but forced into a accepting a few basic templates. They were OK, but didn't "wow" me. By contrast, Alexandra listened to me, responded to what I wanted, gave excellent advice on fabric and cut and actually gave me what I wanted! - a relaxed suit, which is equally appropriate for work and for (slighty more formal) social occasions. I've never had a suit which I've been so happy with. I doubt you'll be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Alexandra Wood is wonderful. Themany suits she's made for me over the years have all been of excellent quality, long lasting, hard wearing and good value. She listens to what I want, makes that happen when she can and is not afraid to tell me when I'm wrong. Frankly since I found her I've given up looking for another Saville Row tailor and you should too.

I am the proud owner of a three piece suit in Prince of Wales fabric. Beautifuly designed and perfectly tailored by Alexandra Wood. I can wear this standout piece to a formal occasion or the jacket with jeans for a Saturday night out in town. Will be a returning customer, highly recommended.
