I had a really productive conversation with Paul Griffiths of APWM. Even though we quickly concluded that we had no basis to do business together in the short-term, Paul was generous with his time and offered me a great deal of extremely well-informed advice. It is perhaps when someone offers this sort of service without any immediate commercial interest that you have the best gauge of their honesty and transparency. Highly recommended.

I knew absolutely nothing about this company but thankfully I was giving Jeff White to be the person to deal with me. He is a lovely person, knowledgeable, sympathetic, and made a new Pensioner feel comfortable in releasing some of her savings to an investment. He has gone over and beyond to guide me in my new life as well out of the UK. I highly recommend Jeff and APWM. I also of course like their attitude on the environment and biodiversity - referring Tree Nation - and the chance to plant a tree in Indonesia but suggest they make it a lot easier as I have still not gone through the entire process because it is complex and may in the end, give up which is a shame! I suggest that could be improved.

James and Georgie were very tenacious bringing over my small pension. They were a pleasure to deal with, and I never felt pressured.

It's never easy transferring funds out of a plan or pension and the process is often lengthy and at times frustrating. This company was so helpful in providing guidance and advice, navigating how to get access to the information about my small UK retirement from afar and review the options for potential transfer. This was our second year in working on this. Shout out to Dave Wattles, in particular, for being honest and candid that the fees involved were too high for the fund total to make sense for the transfer option. He then guided me through the best option for getting access to my retirement funds from across the Atlantic and avoiding any unnecessary taxation along the way - and all without charging me a penny for his expertise, time, and patience. You can't ask for more than that and, had the transfer option been viable, I would have had no hesitation in working with Dave and this company to accomplish the move. I highly recommend this company to any UK ex-pats looking to consolidate or move retirement or investment funds from the UK.

My experience in dealing with Paul Griffith and India was very positive. I wish I had started the process earlier but regardless of that everything was completed in a timely manner. Living in France I knew about the 7.5% French tax would apply on the tax free lump sum from the UK, I was however not aware of the further 9% social charges. I would have been in for a shock had Paul not pointed out all the ins and outs. All e mails etc were dealt with promptly and he made sure that I fully understood the tailored investment plan. I look forward to what will hopefully be a long and happy retirement.

It was difficult to sort with lots of red tape together with a pension company being difficult and slow but Aftab, Lisa and India sorted all the issues that arose in a professional manner. The whole process of transferring my UK defined benefit and money purchase schemes was explained well by James Lavendar who then set out an investment plan which so far has proved to be very robust.
James is easy to talk to pleasant and friendly and ably assisted by India and Nicole who have been invaluable in chasing up providers to assist transfers, giving advice as needed and sticking with it as one of my UK schemes seemed to throw roadblock after roadblock to access my money, without their assistance I’d have probably given up.

Fantastic on boarding process with lots of information to make the best possible decisions. No pressure or agenda, honest evaluation of risk appetite and the best matching products. Use of video calls throughout was seemless. We dealt with Jeff White who was superb in his approach and patient with our endless questions.

During the initial consultation with Mr. Griffiths it became apparent that they could not help me with my present query, however he was very transparent about it and helpful and in pointing me in the right direction.

In the future I will definitely keep them in mind when I will need financial advice in the EU.

My pension pot was a pretty long and drawn out case due to me having very little knowledge of it and if at all it was existent due to the age of the policy from more than 30 years ago.
Initially my pension was found quite quickly by Nicholas Cole and his hard efforts to track it.
Nicola Brady then took over to make contact with my pension broker to find out details of my policies and my broker went out of their way to be as slow and difficult as possible to drag things on forever over the slightest of things with no contact by email available and a response by post within 15 days, this was clearly a delay tac tic to hold on to the money or maybe even to force people to give up.
During this time I had a video call with Paul Griffiths who offered me some good advise for when my policy matures.
Once all of the documentation was in place and received from my broker, I was contacted by Matt Gould and we had a detailed telephone conversation about future plans and the options available.
Once I had received the transfer documents, Matt Gould personally came to my home to check and collect these documents and has led me hand in hand to transfer my pension, which is all completed now and I am more than happy with all of the staff that I have dealt with at Alexander Peter Wealth Management and I would highly recommend them, particularly to those, like myself who contacted a few scamming companies and I was followed up with numerous calls promising the impossible...and illegally.

As an expat living in the Canaries I needed to deal with my Uk Pension and I found Alexander Peter Wealth Management on the Internet. I was very sceptical and wary at first, but Aftab Khan & his assistant Georgie have been very patient and taken the time to answer any queries without pressuring me. I now feel confident and have transferred my pension as per their advice

I wasn't able to give Zero stars. Stay clear of Alexander Peter Wealth. They are NOT Managing your wealth!!!
They took my money, watched it fall by 40% and never "once" contacted me in 18 months other than in response to my constant chasing emails, and phone calls. The phone number they gave me was disconnected (yes really) - extremely worrying when they had 100's thousands of my money. Our Sipp Pension basically dissipated and if it wasn't for my intervention, would have dropped further. Ignored Emails and Zero money management going on here.
I would seriously recommend against using this company. Caveat Emptor - You have been reported!!

Your response was what I expected. Your colleague Mat Gould was reacting to my many emails and phone calls that went ignored. Furthermore, by the time he did connect with me, the damage had already been done and we had lost 30% of our hard-earned savings. You essentially set my savings and completely ignored that measures could have been taken to avoid such heavy losses. Furthermore, you cleverly wrapped a $30,000 commission into my savings which I lost immediately I signed contracts. Also, there were bankruptcies from handling paper authorities as your companywas not authorised to sign these investments off (weird) that I had to deal with during this process which made me feel extremely uneasy and we were not notified. Please be aware of this company and do not be swayed by the seemingly honest response. I have pulled my funds from them and placed them with a new investment broker that keeps in regular contact and "advises" me on how best to invest my funds.

A daunting task made easy with the help of Paul, Jeff and Nicole. Approaching retirement and becoming Spanish residents meant that we needed a full review of our finances, both our savings and our pensions. Paul and Jeff, with Nicole's support, guided us through the complex processes, answering all our questions, making it understandable and successfully transferring everything into various tax efficient accounts.
