I had a really bad experience with Alcura Health.
I was supposed to have a nurse to come to my home after my injections arrived, to explain how to use them safely.
I really feel like no one in Alcura Health cared about me as I had to call to get answers on when a nurse would be available and didn't get anywhere in nearly 4 weeks.
If they go to the recording of my phone calls they will hear how polite I was and I only ran weekly.
Although I was terrified of doing my first injection as I'm needle phobic, I did it with my Mum for moral support, as I felt I had no choice.
During this time I had a call from a lovely Nurse specialist in Ireland who tried her very best to help me and that was the only time I felt that someone in Alcura cared, she seemed genuinely concerned about my health as the injections were to rebuild my bones, she also cared about my mental health.
I have re-posted as I had no response from Alcura and feel so badly let down.
And I still don't know what's right or wrong when I'm injecting.

I was visited by Sarah Exworthy and she was excellent! I couldn’t wish for better instruction and care on the use of your Metoject pens!

Very disappointed! My invoice was $81.29 but the charge was $101.29. After numerous emails, I was informed the additional charges "are to support smooth processing, order verification, and compliance with international regulations". That should have been explained up front. I'm now attempting to get a refund-I'm well within the 180 days advertised and I'm not having any success so far (3 times I've asked). Also, is the name Alcura or Alcuras???? I've seen it both ways online. Very suspicious!

Sarah Exworthy, a field nurse with Alcura, kindly visited today to support and demonstrate initial administration of a once daily injectable medication. Sarah was professional, thorough and approachable. Sarah's knowledge and friendly reassurance in responding to questions ensured a helpful and enjoyable training session. Thanks Sarah

Had a home visit from Sarah Exworthy regarding how to do the daily injections.She was excellant in explaining and showing what to do and also she made me feel so relaxed during the visit,so thank very much.Alex

9pm before the day of delivery and still no 2 hours time slot from them - makes juggling work and being in for an essential medication delivery impossible

Sheetal was the nurse looking after me with my Skyrizi medication injections until I got used to them. She was very polite, communicative and kind. She taught me how to do them very thoroughly and completely and she also went through trouble shooting tips incase there were any problems. Thank you very much Sheetal - a 5 star ⭐ experience

I dont believe Alcura to be a creditable company. I ordered and changed my mind within 30 minutes. Read their terms and if I cancelled my order within 30 minutes or before it was shipped will get a full refund it says. So I sent them an email cancelling within 30 minutes. Then the ghosting started. I sent 8 emails cancelling with no reply. Then I get the email my product had shipped. Another email sent trying to cancel. Finally I got an email saying yes, they could see I cancelled in the time allowed so they would give me a full refund. They said to keep the product. They didnt want it back and wouldnt give me an address to send it to. I have since sent 6 more emails asking when I will get my refund. No reply. No refund as promised. I am totally disgusted with this company and NOT recommend it to anyone.

Sheetal was lovely and very clear in explaining everything to me. Left me feeling confident in what I had to do.

This product did not relieve pain in fact caused pain! They offer a full return policy but give no instructions other sending support and email to which you receive a generic response that they are reviewing your email, it has been three weeks and still no response. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT - total scam!

Had my inital video appointment this morning with allison , she was lovely warm and very reasuring , such a please to have a lovely lady helping me with my medication

Went through everything and went to trouble of finding out about my deliveries. Watched me through the whole thing. Very encouraging and made me feel so comfortable doing my own injection x

If I was just reviewing my nurse, Sheeta this would be 5 stars. She’s fantastic, makes you feel at ease and doesn’t make you feel like you are being stupid when you make a mistake during training. It’s always a pleasure to see her and she’s a real asset to Alcura. I’ll bet the only reason they are being rated at *great* on trustpilot is because of excellent nurses like her.

If I was reviewing just the delivery part of Alcura it would be 2 stars. I’m constantly having to chase up my medication which is irritating because they know how often and how much I am supplied with!

They once delivered packs with no needles, didn’t tell me (just left a voicemail saying if I needed consumables to ring them - I had enough packs so didn’t bother sitting on hold for ages to tell them that) and then got snotty on the phone when I called after opening the pack for my dose and noticed there were no needles.

They also ring my husband even though they then tell him they can’t talk to him anyway?

The whole system for delivery is poor and needs improvement.

I have been having visits with one of the nurses, Sheetal, for a few years to help with my medication for my bones. She was a delight to get to know and has helped me with the techniques for the injections as well as unlocking my confidence with using the medication on my own.

She is a real credit and a great sense of humour which has put me at ease when getting used to the medication.

She and the team at Alcura are easy to talk too and have helped with getting medication to me swiftly without hassle.
