This means that we have no sub-contract labour, which means no hidden costs to be passed onto our customers. We are also annually audited by two independent quality control bodies. With no financial gain to our engineers to rush your installation and with our stringent quality control checks in place, you are guaranteed the highest quality of service, delivery, installation and after care. We have branches in Orpington and Beckenham and offer a full plumbing, heating and cooling service within the North Kent and South London areas.

Phew, what a scorcher!
We used to live in Orpington; it is hard to miss A C Wilgar, where the company is based. Here in Westerham, the name is less well-known.
Like many people, we were driven to look at air conditioning by the stifling temperatures in the recent heat-wave, We have been very happy with the plumbing and boilerservice we have received from ACW in the past 10 years or so, which is why we didn’t hesitate to choose this firm to install air conditioning in our modern house, which was built in 2018.
An installation date in mid-August was offered, and four ACW employees arrived on 18th August and completed the task of installing the equipment the same day.
For anyone considering Air Conditioning after sweating through the hot summer days of 2026, I am happy to recommend the services of A C Wilgar

No surprises - great service provided “again”.
Engineers turned up just before the agreed start time and all materials were delivered before they started. Upon arrival, Wilgar’s Engineers got straight to work undertaking their work politely and with care.
Installation went really well and was completed on time and to our expectations. No issues whatsoever; it was comforting to have them install a downstairs A/C unit, which was added after they installed AC to all bedrooms the previous month. Very satisfied and have no hesitation in recommending them. Brilliant service from start to finish with great back office admin support.
