I had laser eye surgery at AccuVision back in 2013 to correct long-sightedness, and the results were incredible—I haven’t needed glasses or contact lenses since.
This week, I returned due to some changes in my reading vision, which the team had advised might happen with age. The visit was absolutely brilliant. I spent over an hour with the optometrist, who carried out a full set of tests and explained everything clearly. The staff were friendly, the clinic was spotless, and I felt completely at ease throughout.
Most importantly, I wasn’t pushed into unnecessary treatment. After all the tests, the optometrist confirmed that further surgery wasn’t needed at this time. That honesty and professionalism really stood out.
If you're considering laser eye surgery, I can’t recommend AccuVision highly enough. They’ve earned my trust twice now.

My experience with AccuVision Solihull has been nothing but excellent! I honestly cannot describe how happy I am with my results, I went from being reliant upon glasses with a complex prescription, I actually had my eye test free on NHS as my prescription was so complex. I was told about 19 years ago by another clinic that I wasn’t suitable for eye laser surgery and I just thought I would have to wear glasses and contact lenses for the rest of my days. However, after seeing a review on Facebook, I went into the AccuVision website and started reading through all the info. I learnt that there were others that had a high prescription like mine and had been for laser surgery with amazing results. From the first consultation I have been looked after by all the staff and I felt at ease throughout on my surgery day. Everything is was made so easy and so clear I honestly cannot fault the service and want to shout from the rooftops that everyone who is on the fence about this treatment should go ahead and do it as for me it has been life changing so far and I am honestly eternally grateful for my 5 star service I have received. What a fantastic service.
All staff are professional and helpful .
They answered all my questions and were happy to spend as much time as necessary to put me at ease.
The whole procedure was very successful and pain free and efficiently done.
From start to finish the journey was professional in particular Ekra reassured me and provided me all the initial information I needed to help me make the appropriate choice.

I had a free consultation call with Anthony. I could not hear him on the line due to a fan in the office, so I asked him to repeat what he was saying, but he seemed a bit agitated. I then contacted the clinic at Fullham, the receptionist's tone of voice was not welcoming either, so I asked her to remove my contact details from her database to which her tone changed to a more polite and understanding way. They might have had a bad day or a long day. However, the way you interact with a patient is very important, especially where the patient is going to spend a lot of money. You will need to improve in the customer services. Help the patient to feel at ease and welcome, a surgery is always nerve wracking..

I had LASIK at Accuvision’s West Midlands clinic on 9th August 2025. I am writing this review on 11th August 2025. So far my experience has been amazing. The consultation was a breeze, very fast and efficient. Thankfully Accuvision told me I was a suitable candidate after optical express had told me I was not. On the day of the surgery, I was a bit nervous but the great staff they have put my nerves at ease. The surgery went well, and was completely painless. After the surgery, they had a look at my eyes and sent me home to recover. Once I got home, I was waiting for the pain/discomfort to kick in. IT NEVER DID!! Not for one second have I been in any pain or even discomfort at all, it’s amazing. I went back for my 1 day follow up and they told me my eyes are healing well and that within the next week my vision should be quite stable and 20/20. I will continue to leave longer term reviews as I found long term reviews helpful when making my decision. The only side effect I’ve had so far is that my eyes can get a tad dry, but that’s what the drops are for! So I make sure to put them in and so far I have been using my eyes as normal, just without glasses :)

Absolutely brilliant! I had LASIK yesterday and just been for my check up and I couldn’t be happier.

I had an excellent experience at AccuVision in Parsons Green. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. My assessment with Vik was thorough and professional, and he made sure to explain everything clearly, making me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. The team genuinely went above and beyond to ensure I had a positive experience, and I left feeling confident in my eye care. Highly recommend this store for its top-notch service and friendly, knowledgeable staff!

My experience was fantastic from the initial phone call to enquire about the procedure all the way through to the surgery and aftercare. The whole team (admin team, optometrists and surgery team) were amazing and everything was made super simple with great communication and instructions.

The surgery itself went seamlessly with the team providing comfort and assurance all the way through which calmed any nerves I had (my fears were unfounded and the surgery itself was painless)!

I would recommend accuvision to any of my friends or family who were looking to have similar procedures.

Very professional, great clean atmosphere, Vik was amazing. Great experience worth the money and fast delivery of results. So far so good.

The call centre is really reluctant to allow you to speak with the clinic directly, including when you are lost and are walking around in the blazing sun for long periods trying to find the clinic after a long journey and they're not good at giving directions, send you the wrong way and only until you say you're going to leave it and go home do they help you.

The main contact number demands a deposit of money without sending an invoice and inundates you with calls and emails, whilst seemingly refusing to provide an invoice prior to payment.

The contact number is very inpatient, sarcastic and rude and doesn't give you a moment to think, they're only bothered about money and not actually about the customers and what questions they may have and needing help to get to the clinic.

This experience has put me off going with them and they have actually made themselves look like a scam from how poor the customer service is and behaviours when asking for money.

They contacted me to say that they had an offer on where they would waive the usual £150 consultation fee. So my husband and I travelled to Birmingham for the assessment to see if I would be suitable (I have a very strong prescription). The optometrist who offered the tests wasn’t able to get a few of them to work. She also recommended I have some sort of structural surgery too at an additional £3000 cost.
The welcome email said to expect to be there for an hour but with the delays in her being able to use the tests we were there closer to two hours.
Met with the surgeon who recommended I try a -3 contact lens as that’s likely what they could achieve. They offered to get them to me for £30 but I said “thank you but I will buy them myself as I could get them cheaper”. I asked several times about the cost of the surgery and the female optometrist said around £7,000 with the structural recommendation but the surgeon said not to bother with that and said around £4,000. The female optometrist said she could call me the next day with the figure.
No one called. So the next week I emailed in asking for a price. No reply. Emailed twice more, no reply.
I posted a google review about my wasted trip and their lack of response. Received a really horrible email back from them stating I had refused to try the -3 lenses and so they didn’t see the point in quoting me for surgery. Ironically, very short sighted of them, had that even been what happened.

We drove two hours to the appointment and it was an absolute waste of time. The customer service is non existent. No effort to repair their failings or even offer a quote.
Really disappointing. Would not recommend.

Thank you so much to the team at Solihull. It was an extremely personal 5* service, everyone knew my name upon arrival, and I felt very comfortable. Any questions I had were answered in detail and I didn’t feel rushed to make any decisions at all. My eyes were just under a -8.00 prescription and now my vision is even clearer than when I wore glasses and contact lenses. I’ve worn glasses since I was 7 years old, so it’s absolutely life changing. The procedure was fast and painless, with very little waiting around. So grateful to everyone involved in getting my eyes back to 20/20. Thank you! ⭐️

Fantastically honest advice. Having explained my situation to Karina, one of the optometrists, I was rather surprised to be told that surgery was not for me. That there would have been insufficient benefit to warrant undergoing surgery. Had I been told otherwise I would have undoubtedly have had the treatment and AccuVision would have had my money. I wasn't even charged for the telephone consultation. Very refreshing.

I have never had laser surgery and I wasn’t sure what to expect but the whole team make me feel very comfortable and they showed how confident they were in this procedure, everything was precise like clockwork and I am back to 20/20 vision within a week.
