7 Cups is no longer reliable for LGBTQ+/MOGII persons, as the platform discontinued their 24/7 chatroom support, no longer include/mention LGBTQ+/MOGII (option) in their surveys/feedback(options). There is no option of 'Other' in GR, surveys, feedback. EVERYTHING (and I mean EVERYTHING) is 'tailored' now, to what the platform will accept (USA-based, faith(ish) - not directly stated within form h bio..). So, fellow LGBTQ+/MOGII people - tread VERY carefully, when visiting this site. L

i really my experience as listener in 7cup i really keep learning a lot of stuffs and we are providing support to all kind of people .

7Cups is a wonderful place to be either on the Listener or Member side. So far, it's been a great experience for me meeting wonderful people. Definitely recommend to everyone.

As a Psychology graduate who aspires to become a mental health professional, volunteering on 7 Cups has been an insightful experience, allowing me to combine theory and practice. The training material, the workshops, and the programmes under the 7 Cups Academy have enriched my knowledge and skills, and I see how important these have been in shaping the way I support not only those seeking a listening ear but also myself.

7 Cups also gives volunteers the opportunity to take on different roles, e.g., become a mentor or leader, which I also find valuable when it comes to one's personal growth and professional development.

As for the listening experience itself, supporting those in need can be emotionally intense, but so so unique. Being there for others, especially when the world feels hard or scary, can restore feelings of hope and warmth. You never know what a difference you can make just by engaging in a single chat, and this is powerful. We all need each other.

I'm a listener and this is the best mental health platform, The design, the programs to enhance the skills of listener, the forum posts and everything is just so well managed and swiftly done. I am grateful to be a part of this community and proud of it.

Being a listener on 7 Cups has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It's a privilege to offer a safe and non-judgmental space for others to share their thoughts and feelings. While I'm still learning and growing in this role, I'm deeply motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Initially, I was drawn to 7 Cups by the desire to connect with others and offer a listening ear as part of my Psychology Degree . I quickly realised that active listening, empathy, and genuine human connection are powerful tools for healing and growth.

I'm committed to continuously improving my listening skills and expanding my knowledge of mental health and well-being. I strive to create a supportive and understanding environment where individuals feel comfortable opening up and exploring their emotions.

My goal is to reach as many people as possible who are struggling with life's challenges. I believe that by offering a compassionate and non-judgmental space for open and honest communication, I can contribute to the well-being of others and make a meaningful difference in their lives. I am now completing an internship through 7 cups and couldn't praise it enough. 7 Cups aligns most closely with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

I appreciate this app because it allows me to connect and support those around me. I understand the paths and the listeners who openly want to help us on the app. This is a nice app if you need support but can't talk to anyone at home about it. I can't wait for more updates and they have a lot of things to explore on their site. I will say that sometimes it can be hard to navigate to where you need to go at times. But I appreciate those online who can help you out. If you want to help others this a nice place to start. You can interact with their training and get informed.

Additionally, I would like to add that this app would benefit from some more supervision. Sometimes, listeners or members may not adequately understand the boundaries and professional side of communicating. This can lead to misunderstandings, and it would be beneficial if the conversation were examined more carefully to point out errors, opportunities for growth, and inappropriate behavior.

7 Cups is an amazing platform!
I have learned so much about myself in the short time I have been a listener on 7 Cups. I have seen myself and my communication skills grow. Not only am I seeing the benefits for myself, but also for the members. Supporting the members when they are feeling lost or down has been so rewarding. There are ample training guides available for listeners to help with various issues. We genuinely want to help one another.

The community is kind and caring. They all really want us to be the best versions we can be. I appreciate all that I have learned and will continue to learn. I see myself on this site for a very long time.

I LOVE 7CUPS! It's invaluable for teens and adults. The website and app are very safe to use, and you can meet so many nice, helpful, and caring people on your journey!

If you're worried about a teen (13-17) using this because of the chat and forums, you have nothing to worry about! There are moderators in the chats (for both teens and adults) to overview everything to make sure the rules are followed! If any rules are broken, moderators always give warnings before completely removing a user.

As a teen who is both a Member and a Listener on 7Cups, I am so proud of myself for finding this website! I can get help on my member account and give help on my listener account! I have also met so many amazing people, and some of them have become my close friends!

Annnndddd (yes, there's more), the website is FREE! The only thing you would need to pay for is professional therapy. If you would like to share your worries and have someone listen to you, the Listeners are for you!

There are fun forums to join, and guided discussions, everyone gets included, and it feels like family!

As someone who wants to enter a field with counseling, 7cups has helped me feel prepared and grow in confidence in my abilities for the future.
