Price was the best I had found for the camera I ordered. Called to thank me for my order and to see if there was anything else they could help me with. Very satisfied with this company. Would recommend to other people.

Knowledgable and responsive sales force. Good prices. Fair and flexible on returns.

It was easy to order the lens I'd been eyeing for awhile. They called to make sure I had selected what I'd intended - the right version and accessories. The lens came quick and in perfect shape. I appreciated the follow up and the great price!

Quick and easy service. The lens I purchased was the lens that was shipped. I received a follow up call to determine if I was ordering the correct lens for my camera and use.

Very fast service! Good customer experience

Excellent selection and great prices. Quick shipping! Kept me up to date with status & tracking numbers. Will definitely be back again!

I've always had a good experience with 42nd St photo. Their prices are competitive, and I'm confident that the product I order is as stated in their advertisements. I have no problem recommending them as top-notch.

Best price on Nikon 80 -> 400 lens, great selection in stock, fast delivery and helpful friendly salespeople.

Worst shopping experience in this shop.
He will only stare at your 20% so-called return fees.
I booked a Nikon D850 camera. The merchant modified my order without my knowledge and added $1,000. I called to ask if I was out of stock. The merchants promoted the so-called US version of the D850 to the same product. However, the price of the camera was more than $1,000 for me to make additional payments. So I proposed to cancel the order and refund, merchants do not allow direct refunds for various reasons. I called again for a refund to cancel the order and the merchant immediately informed that it had been shipped. Request to provide ups package number, but was told to wait again and again! ! ! I sent 6 e-mails and the merchant did not reply! ! ! I will safeguard the rights through legal channels in the end!

I have shopped for my camera gear at 42nd Street Photo for almost four decades. During that time I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of camera bodies, lenses and accessories. I always found 42nd Street to have the lowest prices and the quickest service. That latter point is especially important to me since for almost all of the time I have been a customer I did not live in NYC and my purchases arrived via mail in Alaska, Arizona and Washington.

The Sigma dock I ordered was delivered quickly. The website was easy to navigate and the purchase experience was hassle free. I will likely order from 42nd Street Photo again.

Great Experience. Purchase a wide angle lens, very helpful in picking the best option within my price range. wonderful customer service and lens was received on time as promised.

Thank you,
Luis Pezzini

I purchased my Sony Alpha 99 M2 from 42nd Street Photo. The ordering experiencing was very easy and fast. They offered the best pricing for the camera and associated accessories.

I received the lens quickly; at a great price and free shipping. is exactly as described, and works great. Really happy with purchase.

I was shopping for a Canon SL1 camera with a 18-55mm lens and 42nd Street Photo had the best price. I placed my order online and the camera was promptly shipped. The camera arrived in perfect condition and a complimentary cleaning kit was sent with the camera. Originally from the east coast, I have purchased from 42nd St. Photo before the internet came into existence. It really was no surprise that I received great service from a company that's been around for a long time.

They were very helpful over the phone; my camera arrived very promptly; and I felt that I paid a very fair price for the camera.

I spent weeks researching the purchase of new lens for my son. He had requested a Canon 85mm f/1.2L II USM lens for an upcoming film festival, and I wanted to find the best deal. I searched all of my regular sites, but then ran across 42nd Street Photo's website. I had never made a purchase here before, and in fact, I had never seen their site. But what I found was a NEW lens for a price that was CHEAPER than advertised used lens from competitors. When trying to finalize my order, the staff was also very helpful as I selected an UF filter to protect the lens, and cooperated in helping me get expedited shipping to ensure it arrived in time for his film festival. In the end, I saved over $350...and I got a NEW lens, delivered on time, with exceptional service...and my son was excited! A win-win purchase and encounter. A+++++

I am looking to purchase a canon 16-35 mm f/4 lens and 42nd Street Photo has the lowest price as usual. I called them
this morning and Michael recognized my voice immediately and it felt good speaking to a friend instead of a stranger. I have been
shopping at 42nd street photo for over 10 yrs. I bought a canon T4i, Canon 6D, 24-70 mm f/2.8 Lens, 70-200 mm f/2.8 Lens and
Macro 100 mm f/2.8 Lens from 42nd Street Photo. I trust them with my camera’s gears. 42nd Street Photo is my 1st choice.

Not only are the prices significantly lower than any other place I could find on the web their customer service is really what stood out. They contacted me two three times after my purchase letting me know the details and asking how my experience was, very professional and will do business with them again.

Always great prices, great packing & shipping. Never a problem with these guys. We have two companies and have been buying equipment from them for over a decade.
