Laura Anscomb who I spoke to was very polite and helpful pleasure to deal with her she booked my appointment for me for my boiler service

Dale came to do our first gas safety inspection of our boiler, Dale phoned prior to arrival to advise what time to expect him.
Dale was well presented and professional and most importantly due to his diligence identified that we had the wrong size fuse in the isolation switch and changed it to the correct amp that required the boiler to be safe.

Had a problem with my boiler called AA insurance my problem was dealt with easy & sorted in a few hours. I spoke to a lovely advisor called Laura she was very helpful & friendly. The engineer sorted the issues in less than 20 mins.

Joanne Thompson has done a truly wonderful job today explaining everything to me that I needed to know and more by answering my questions

Joanne Thompson rang me to book a surveyor visit. She was really pleasant and very knowledgable about the surveying process. This company seems to employ some really nice staff. Well done 0800Repair. I'm looking forward to having the work completed by your tradesmen as one of my neighbours (who recently had work done through the Warm Home Grant Scheme) had nothing but praise for the workers.

On Monday 08/06/26 I found my boiler had leaked and everything in this main storage cupboard was soaking wet. I rang my insurance company Admiral and their contractor MySedgwick which deals with Home Emergencies. But I was initially put through to either the wrong departments or did not receive any updates via text or phone calls to be advised when an EMERGENCY boiler engineer would attend. I was just told it would be that day. After hours of waiting and re contacting MySedgwick and becoming more anxious - I had a leaking boiler!! I was told by MySedgwick they wouldn't be sending anyone until the next day! And didn't know when! Ie they didn't have a boiler engineer to attend! One last attempt I made at tea time with MySedgwick and an agent found PHS Home Solutions Aka 0800 Repair. That a boiler engineer would come to me between 9pm and midnight on the same day (08/06/26). Damian did and diagnosed the problem. A hole continually spraying water. And turned off the water in the boiler. Which for the first time all day of growing anxiety, gave me reassurance and support. I was to ring 0800 Repair the next morning (today) re parts Damian was ordering - which I did. Helen listened to my concerns, and the urgency, and passed on a message to her colleague. Laura Anscombe of 0800 Repair rang me. Had been briefed. Reassured me. Were organising a boiler engineer and the parts needed. Asked me to chase MySedgwick as they were waiting for approval for the parts and repair they were arranging for me. MySedgwick confirmed approval. I spoke with Laura who advised me of the boiler engineer attending. Basically, Laura had kept me informed throughout a VERY stressful time where I had expected MySedgwick as a Home EMERGENCY organisation to be sorting out a engineer to arrive on the day I'd rang as being urgent. Apart from the last attempt I'd made with MySedgwick to request being sent an engineer - where the agent found 0800 Repair who would attend even late at night up til midnight - Laura reassured me, was very helpful, kept me informed - which MySedgwick failed to do. Laura reduced my stress and anxiety after hours of not being given any help. The boiler engineer Damian turned up at the very time he said he would. The parts were fitted. I had all my soaked items from the boiler cupboard to sort out. Washing throws and towels. Hanging up soaking wet items, etc. And challenging having mobility issues and on my own doing this. Helen, Lauren, Damian from 0800 Repair did their job, professionally and with respect. And restored my faith in call centres. As did the last agent, Vino, at MySedgwick after hours of waiting for even an update where I had to myself ring every few hours to find out what was going on. They'd sent me text messages to my landline! And some IT issue not being able to text my mobile. Why couldn't MySedgwick ring me with updates! Laura rang me. Kept me updated. That's important. Especially when you're feeling vulnerable, needing help and reassurance in an emergency! Thank you to all!
