This program is great because it assists with engaging struggling writers. Students can set up and use graphic organizers to assist in writing both simple paragraphs or five paragraph essays depending upon the student's present levels of performance. The program tracks progress and can show student progress over a period of time. Feedback is immediate once completed and is very informative to enhance deeper future instruction.

Writing Mastery is a great tool when working with students. It provides immediate feedback on writing skills so students know where they need to improve. The rewards feature within the system is also very helpful to keep students motivated. My students have had positive experiences and heightened their writing skills with this program.

Dr. Levy has a great approach to writing that helps student understand the essentials of composition. Writing Mastery takes students through composition with step by step instructions: brainstorming, composing a thesis, building a 3-paragraph essay and final edits with the CTOPS approach. I've enjoyed sharing it with my tutoring clients and also use the approach in my own writing projects.

Writing Mastery is a great program for students who have difficulty organizing information or knowing how to start the writing process. There are examples and step by step instructions on how to proceed. From the thesis statement all the way through the body paragraphs to the conclusion. There is as much or as little scaffolding as is necessary depending on progress and comfort level of the students. Everything is done in stages.

This is a wonderful platform. It really helps scaffold the writing process so students can build on their skills and strengthen their writing. The only thing I’ve noticed about the program is that you have to keep filling in your blurbs for the introduction, topic sentence 1, 2, 3, and conclusion. It doesn’t automatically fill it in for you once you’ve typed it out the first time. You have to type it out twice which is sort of an inconvenience. That’s my only critique and it’s not even a huge deal. Students can really expand in their skills set by using Writing Mastery!

I used this program as an in-home tutor. It was very well developed and easy to use and follow (both as a tutor and for the student I supported). I would highly recommend this program to tutors, educators and anyone supporting the learning of young people.

The "Writing Mastery Program" is a wonderful resource for students and parents/teachers! With the program, kids learn the steps to writing a well-crafted essay by scaffolded lessons with easy to understand instructions and on the spot feedback. Many students struggle with writing, especially students with special needs such as ADHD, ASD and/or Learning Disabilities. Writing mastery is a game changer for virtual students who need to practice and improve their writing. In an age where chrome-books are given to every student, technology is crucial to a student’s education and willingness to learn. My students love writing mastery because it allows them to use a computer during sessions which makes learning more familiar to them and more fun!

Writing Mastery is fantastic. I have worked with many students over the past several years using Dr Levy’s book series, “ Strategies for Study Success”. These workbooks help students plan, organize, write and edit. It is a truly excellent workbook series for learning the writing process. Now, with the addition of Writing Mastery, Dr Levy has brought the writing process to a new exciting level for students. I have found that today’s students prefer the comfort of working with technology over manually writing. It puts them at ease when they know they will be able to plan, organize, write and edit using Writing Mastery as opposed to using paper and pencil. When students are at ease, they work more efficiently and write more expressively. The program itself is very user friendly. Students can easily switch back and forth between the planning and writing modes, so that they can stay on track while editing. Additionally, the language the program uses, and the feedback it gives to the students are both positive and constructive. The program also automatically saves all writing and edits, and students can easily pick up where they left off without concern that their work will get lost. Once the student submits their writing sample, they receive excellent feedback. The fact that the feedback is stored forever in the program is outstanding. When tutoring in person, students hear and discuss feedback, but they might not always remember to apply all the suggestions for future writing assignments. Writing Mastery keeps everything in one place, so the student can revisit suggestions whenever they wish. Finally, the program has a cute reward system. I have found that my students really enjoy earning stickers as they advance through the program. I give this program 10 out of 10 stars! “Bravo Writing Mastery!”

Writing Mastery Program is a great program that I have been using for over two years. I use it with all of my students, from first grade to high school students. The program uses AI to give precise, tailored feedback in a form that is proper for the student’s grade level. Each program is individualized to meet student’s needs so each student will have a completely different experience while using the program. Since most classes have students on a multitude of different levels, it is very convenient that this one program can be used to meet all of their needs. Each level helps students build their confidence and vocabulary while learning to compose longer and more detailed responses. Sentence Structure helps students learn how to write complete sentences and differentiate between types of sentences. It teaches students how to use punctuation and capitalization. Simple Paragraphs transitions students to using graphic organizers to help them organize their thoughts. The program reviews topic and conclusion sentences while providing students with ample examples and opportunities to create their own. Once they have mastered Simple Paragraphs, students transition to Extended Paragraphs. On this level, students are provided with a more detailed graphic organizer that reflects the length of their responses. It fully prepares students to write longer essays for both high school, college, and beyond. Parents, teachers, and students have access to the students’ portfolios - a place where their past writings are archived. It has charts that are easy to read that accurately track the student’s grade level over time. Students are encouraged to do well by earning stars, which can then be traded for fun emojis. All in all, Writing Mastery Program is an essential tool for any teacher or student. I am very happy that I have had the chance to experience this wonderful program!

Many of my students find the writing process to be overwhelming. The Writing Mastery program has been an amazing tool to have access to for students in elementary grades through high school.. It guides students through the writing process from organization of ideas to editing their final essay. My students enjoy the variety of topics and motivational rewards built into the program. They are excited to see their how their skills have improved. The immediate feedback from the scoring allows us to discuss which skills have improved and what our focus should be going forward. I have seen tremendous growth within our sessions and students are able to apply what they have learned to their classroom assignments.
