Watch out for this scam insurance company
This company is a total scam. Their customer support team is in place to deflect questions. I submitted a legitimate claim in January of this year and have been waiting almost 3 months for a resolution. After numerous calls with their claims team to try to get ANY information, I finally received a letter stating that two pieces of documentation (out of the tens of documents I sent them) had insufficient information. I submitted the info they requested, and then when I called for confirmation, I was told I would have to wait up to another 45 business days (3 more months) for resolution. I paid for all of these procedures out of pocket and am sitting on my thumbs waiting for them to reimburse me or even give me any relevant info. Every time I ask them any clarifying questions (Do you have all the documentation you need? When can I expect resolution? Is there any way to excalate my claim?) I get canned answers from robotic, apathetic customer support people. "I'm sorry sir, as per our stated policy, at this time I cannot confirm..." Stay away from these snakes.
Update: I'm also certain a bunch of their reviews on this site are fake. Scroll for yourself and see how many 3 word reviews there are, always the same: "fast and easy" "easy to purchase" etc. My experience has been genuinely awful, and if you look at the reviews on the Better Business Bureau, you will see the reality of what and who you are dealing with. Don't trust their 4.4 rating.

Please note that claims processing can take longer when additional documentation is needed; claims processing time is 30-45 business days after all required documentation is submitted. Once the claim is finalized, an Explanation of Benefits will be sent showing the outcome of the claim. You can always use the Member Portal to stay up-to-date on claim processing status.
Additionally, we can assure you that we do not manipulate our customer feedback in any way. Reviews come from a range of customer experiences, and while some are brief, they reflect individual perspectives. We encourage all customers to share honest feedback, and some prefer to leave shorter reviews while others are more detailed.

I used their travel insurance pretty recently, and my experience was kind of mixed.
Buying the plan was easy enough — the website was straightforward, and it only took a few minutes to get everything set up. Pricing felt pretty standard, not the cheapest out there but not overpriced either. On paper, the coverage looked solid.
Where it got a bit frustrating was during the claims process. They asked for quite a bit of documentation, and I had to go back and forth a couple of times to provide additional info. It wasn’t terrible, just a bit slower and more involved than I expected.
Overall, I’d say it’s decent for basic coverage, but if you end up filing a claim, be prepared for some paperwork and a little patience.
