Pulling my hair out with frustration!!! If I could give a minus rating, I would. After sending all the ID requirements for the verification update (been with them 7yrs) they decided to suspend our account and withhold over £6500 of our funds, hours of phone calls, told max 72 hours to resolve (advisor hung up on me because he couldn't answer simple questions), 168 hours later and I find myself calling them again only to be told they are still 'reviewing' and account remains suspended and they still have our funds, how is this even legal?? Worldpay you are a disgrace and harmful to businesses, you should not be allowed to trade in this unethical way!!! I am a patient person but having wasted my time on phone calls to people who are extremely difficult to understand and appear to be 'script reading' and juggling funds of my own to keep cashflow above the red, I am at my wits end, not to mention having to purchase a temporary Sum Up machine just so my business can continue to trade at an additional cost to us! Someone with some sense needs to read the negative reviews on here and act upon them although I have little faith that will happen!!!

The worst company ever. Their agent Anthony promised to get my company roughly a 30% reduction in rates, sat down with his rates and my current rates infront of him and was confident he would achieve me this reduction in rates.

Fast forward 3 months, my bills start coming in and they have more than DOUBLED! The agent now doesn't answer phone calls, or reply to whats app messages and the company World Pay apparently have me locked into a lengthy contract with high exit fee's. They also today hit me with additional charges due to none compliance with the "payment card industry security standards (PCI DSS)" and so they will be charging me even more.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY, OR DEAL WITH A LAD CALLED ANTHONY, COVERED IN TATTOO'S, THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND ONCE YOU ARE SIGNED UP YOU CANT GET OUT.

Luckily enough i didn't cancel my previous card machine terminal as i smelt a rat, so i can just run my contract out and then get rid of them.

Can’t even get through to customer services, keep on overcharging monthly payments, still haven’t resolved it as you can’t get through to anybody. Avoid this company at all cost nothing but stress.

Dreadful company. They outsource their Due Diligence department internationally. The customer advisers abroad have limited communication skills and withhold business funds. Ours now held over a week even though Due Diligence was satisfied. They are FCA regulated but standards fall below. There are plenty of more ethical card service companies that are more competitive.

Carol Rickerby really helped us get set up with Worldpay. Really pleased to have a virtual terminal. It will really help our business. Customer service is a little tricky but once I got through they helped me with the set up very easily. Highly recommend Carol from Worldpay.

AVOID WORLDPAY AT ALL COSTS FOR YOUR BUSINESS
I would strongly suggest against using Worldpay for your business. It took them over 3 months to sort out a simple gateway installation which is still ongoing, and the staff seemed incompetent. Save yourself time and frustration by using Sage Pay instead. which we will be looking to join.

They have sent me a termination notice without any actual notice! Stopped my funds for the last 2 weeks and after sending many documents they have requested they have still proceeded with termination with no reason at all! I urge all business to avoid Worldpay as there is many more providers with better rates out there. Look at their reply below, they are thieves! They are holding my funds for the next 120 days, I do not know if the business will survive this.

PLEASE DONT LISTEN to the responses on the reviews nothing comes of this! I have been in touch and now have been told after the 120 days days they re open the case and investigate further! This is my money they have and telling me they can’t disclose why they have my money! This is because there is no reason! I have simply been scammed! Had reps in the shop selling me this contract had the machine done transactions then the money kept from me with no reason what so ever! There is no reason and they have told me I’m not the only one! There must be thousands of businesses they are doing this too! I am going to be putting this all over social media and google! I will be creating some groups for all the businesses to join who has suffered from this! I am also taking this to watchdog and the financial ombudsman! LETS GET THIS COMPANY TAKEN DOWN!!

I would give this company zero stars if it was possible. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

They send reps to your business that make you feel like you are overpaying and how much they can save you. They do the application in front of you which is shown as accepted. After a week of using the machine they close your account down and withhold your funds. They don’t give an explanation to why this has happened. They can’t disclose anything apparently making you feel like you have done something seriously wrong. The staff in transaction monitoring are really rude and have no interest in listening to anything you have to say. They also said in their own words YOUR NOT THE FIRST AND WONT BE THE LAST!! Clearly this proves how many businesses they are doing this too. I have been running my shop for 13 years and never had any issues with any card providers. Have put in a complaint and the response I have had says they haven’t done anything wrong! No comments on how I was spoken to and treated on the phone call with Junayd. We ended the phone call with myself in tears.

They just sign you up within minutes let you carry out transactions then take your money. I have no interest in the company reopening my account I have handed in my own notice. They have no right to keep my takings without giving me evidence on why. I will be taking this further. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Awful customer service. Would give no stars if possible. Made several complaints which weren't followed up. In the end we changed providers. Fantastic decision to do so, realising how simple it can be to operate a card machine after this awful experience with Worldpay.

THE WORST COMPANY
I got a card terminal with world pay with low percentages which worked out roughly £16 a month. I got told that for my contract I pay £1 a month for 12 months so if I wanted to leave 6 months in I would have to pay the remaining £6. Being with worldpay has been nothing but a headache. I got charged £50 last month.. still unsure to this day what for. I woke up this morning with a charge of £440 taken out of my account. This left me in my overdraft which I don’t have arranged with my bank meaning by the end of the week I will accrue £70 in charges. After speaking to the world pay team the charge was for a broken terminal. The card reader broke a few months so they sent me a new one and I got told by them the courier bringing the new one would collect the broken one and he wouldn’t take it so the broken one has been sat in the box awaiting collection and because this hasn’t been collected they’ve charged me £440 for a mistake on their end. I told them I wanted to leave expecting to pay the remaining couple of few pounds for the last few months of my contract and then got told there was a £173 exit fee. In total, with the charge for the machine, the exit fee, bank charges and the £50 charge last month they have cost me 734.55. The “helpline” if you could call it that were no help at all and I’ve continued to be penalised for their mistakes. I would NOT recommend world pay to anyone

Make it impossible to close an account if you inadvertently do open one.

Helena from Worldpay is so helpful and knowledgeable. Whenever I need something I can always message her and she responds right away...A lovely person to work with!

Customer service is appalling. We were asked to provide ID proof as a routine check, which we did. Ultimately our account was 'closed' but no reason given even though we submitted alternative ID. 40 minute call to various departments and we found the issue and rectified it. Two emails sent asking when the account will be reopened and neither have been answered.

I highly recommend that no one uses this company. They have kept my funds on hold for 5 months and still are without proper explanation. Whenever I call the number for the transaction monitoring team the phone hangs ups and goes to voicemail saying “we are in an emergency now and cannot answer” they do not provide any help and have rude agents who threaten to terminate the call when I ask for a proper response while raising their voice at me. Avoid this company as my next course of action will be to contact a lawyer to help with this matter.

Nathan gray is an absolutely gem of a human being and salesmen, he has supplied 2 of my businesses with new card readers, was such an easy process which Nathan kept my mind at ease the whole way through and even come down the the businesses personally to help set them up! Highly recommended.
