World of Roses started growing roses in Bedfordshire in the 1960's. The family run business was started by Paul Chessum initially producing roses in his parents back garden. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded to become one of the largest growers in the UK and Europe and is now in its third generation in the family. We are specialist suppliers and growers of premium quality British roses, supplying garden centres and our own online store. Ordered four rose and was disappointed…
Ordered four rose and was disappointed with the quality. Three of them arrived in pretty poor condition and had damage. I’m not sure either they have sent the correct rose as it looks nothing like the one I ordered last year and order four more to complete a run along the side.

Missed the point of an acceptable gift
I bought a Diamond wedding anniversary rose as a gift for my parents. When the rose arrived, it was healthy but had been fiercely pruned back and was not suitable as an anniversary gift. When I initially got in touch with the company the email I got back was positive and seemed to understand why I was disappointed. I then received a second email telling me that the plant was healthy but had been pruned to promote new growth. They completely missed the point that the rose was called 'Diamond wedding anniversary ' and so was most likely a gift. I'll never buy roses online again.

My rose plants didn't look very healthy, but I potted them up to give them a chance, but now they look exactly the same as when they arrived (4 months ago) - no growth at all! So very disappointed and a waste of money.

My order was delivered 2 days late! I paid for special date delivery but for some reason their courier couldnt find the address so my order was sent back to their depot. This was a very special birthday gift for my friend's 90th birthday and the surprise was ruined. Not impressed.

Incompetent
Twice I ordered two roses, twice order accepted, money taken and only one was delivered. The second time it was a special wedding present which you managed to spoil, after paying extra money for the delivery. You did apologise which I don’t accept. Your stock control is appalling and needs to be sorted out.
I will never use your company again or recommend to anyone. Bitterly disappointed.
