World of Roses started growing roses in Bedfordshire in the 1960's. The family run business was started by Paul Chessum initially producing roses in his parents back garden. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded to become one of the largest growers in the UK and Europe and is now in its third generation in the family. We are specialist suppliers and growers of premium quality British roses, supplying garden centres and our own online store. We have recently expanded our product range to offer beautiful gifts to cater for all occasions.

The rose i ordered although didn't deliver the day I asked for but day late arrived with a lovely looking rose. Very well presented id brought it as a gift the person I brought it for absolutely loves it. Would order from them again . Already flowered looks beautiful.

The box the rose came in was battered and no certificate to say the name we chose for the rose just a tatty piece of paper the greeting was so tiny and not stuck on straight very dissapointing

A very positive experience
I eventually chose the roses I wanted as gifts (so much choice!).
The site was relatively easy to use and the checkout process fine.
Both roses arrived at their different destinations safely and as promised, and I am told, were healthy and happy looking!
I had to contact the company directly, shortly after checkout, when I realised I had entered the wrong address for one of them. I received a prompt and polite reply and my error was corrected.

AI and SA could be WoR downfall
My experience makes me shudder at the thought of the future as dependency on AI increases.
The roses themselves were well received and look healthy in the photos I was sent my the recipient. The note on the other hand left a lot to be desired... instead of wishing the newly married couple 'Happy beginnings, Mum and Dad' it read 'Happy Biginings Mom and Dad!
I had had to phone in my order as the BOGOF code wouldn't work (apparently roses chosen as gift wrapped not included in the promotion). So the message was taken by the operator. Now before anyone jumps down my throat, I am not at all racist...I assumed the clearly non native to UK operative would have good understanding of the English language as a customer service employee so I was very disappointed by the appalling note.
I emailed as per the order receipt requests if unhappy and got a quick response, too quick, or maybe 'Tom' is bionic? Actually he is as he's an AI robot!
He told me the message would have been copied exactly from my online order, thereby proving that AI is not 100% accurate.
I decided to call the number again and seemed to get the same operator as before so I asked her where she was based...SOUTH AFRICA! Yes, this British company has outsourced it's customer services.
The company really needs to heed the fact that AI and foreign customer service is losing it valuable customers!

We are truly sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your recent order, especially regarding the personalized message. We understand how frustrating it must have been to have the note arrive with errors, particularly for such a special occasion.
To clarify, our AI agent advised that the message printed was the messaged entered onto the order. It didn't mention an online order. It also advised that it does not know why the error occurred. The agent also explained that your order should be treated as 'incorrect' or 'not as described' and that the customer service team will be able to advise on a replacement. Therefore, it has recognised that there is an error with your order which is accurate.
Our call centre team generally have a high standard of English, both written and spoken. It appears an error was made by a single agent and this has already been flagged internally for review and coaching.

Delivered quickly and packaged well
Delivered quickly and packaged well. One issue us delivery man. He was late no update to me and I contacted company about it and got nowhere. The stated it could be delivered up until 9pm but time slot 2.15-4.15 it arrived 4.45 no update could not track journey and I explained that my mum is 90 and would not answer the door after 9pm. Having said that if arrived 4.45 and left behind the bin and my mum couldn't get out to pick it up and had to ask passer by to help no knock at the door or rang the bell. Unfortunately it's the type of delivery I expected from yodel. Luckily it arrived ok and in good condition even if some dirt had fell out of the pot.
