This is a scam. It is an AI-powered flex work platform that steals and uses another person’s personal information—such as a name, address, Social Security number, and bank account number—without permission to commit fraud. It denied me employment opportunities because falsely claimed that my personal information could not be validated, even after send the platform a copy of my driver license, social security card, and passport. I have NEVER had a company to deny me employment, claiming that it could not authenticate me. Because WorkWhile is an AI-powered flexibility to transform staffing, it presents a range of serious drawbacks, risks, and ethical dilemmas. The disadvantages of AI include potential job displacement, the perpetuation of societal biases, data privacy issues, and high implementation.

The very LEAST they should have done was call me. I expect to be treated like a human being, not some disposable "job candidate."

Unbelievably sloppy. Went to a job that was simple and cut early. 4 days ago. Still no way to contact & see what’s happening. Not paid yet. 0 customer/contractor support. Said I was 4 minutes late but only because I couldn’t find the “site supervisor” for the job (same when attempting to clock out). It’s astonishing there is no way to rectify any issues. I would suggest other job sites for sure. It’s infuriating

what a complete mess this place is. lets start with w-2 verification. 126 days requesting a reset since phone number of verifier was phone and not cell. this change alone hasnt even been addressed yet. 17 emails saying thanks for yoiur patience. still nothing. 3+ quarters qualified for health care subsidies through california. submitted my plan….and never heard a thing. $1500 1 q and 750 2q. . then lets start with overtimes not being submitted correctly. never revised resulting in late pays. if you have deal witg support, ive got some bad news. more times than not you will be worse on than before making contact. they have cxld shifts, failed to remove me from orhers costing me the opportunity to access current positions open. they will block you losing all shifts due to system errors inaccuratly showing missed shifts if there is any clock in discrepancy. but orher thsn the theft of health care money, screwing up anything not automated correctly, not having a support that. sn offer any assistance, and not being able to respond in 120+ days on an issue that would take 13 seconds at most to resolve, and getting deactivated for coloroful language describing treatment of my account…its great. too bad, most of conpanys are very cool to work with. workwhile is a headache without asprin

i just recently signed up.... and i noticed their "background check" procedure as unusual. They have a 60 second clock (that is used; when initially processing a "background" check. i have NEVER in my life seen a background check processed in 60 seconds (which raised a red flag). i tried to communicate with the so called "chat support". However they only "replied" with generic template "replies"....and never answered my questions actually. i hate that i gave these people my personal information.
This may be a scam; which they may also make money from the "background check" leads....(which they earn money from companies such as commission junction etc.) likely the reason why they ask you to agree to a "background check" and "initiate" a "background check in 60 seconds; is so they can be paid quickly by from the advertising company......

Do not work for this App. They will hold your pay even after your time is approved. My time was approved over 24 hours ago and still have not received payment. There are way better apps out there to use like gigsmart, qwick or instawork who pay you immediately after your time is approved.

"no jobs available in your area" and then I come to work and there's mf workwhile grunts here. Update your f*ing system, dudes.

Do not waste your time with this company or it’s people and the company’s they work with, like Uni-Uni n Chicago on 4116 North Nashville, these people will not approve your time even after you worked hard and WorkWhile doesn’t care to investigate to get you paid, when you inquire about your pay that you earned, you will get attitudes from there staff. Waste of time…

SCUM OF THE EARTH THEIVES! THEY ADVERTISE SEVERAL $21 AN HOUR JOBS, YOU BOOK IT AND CONFIRM, THEN THEY LOWER THE HOURLY RATE TO $17 AN HOUR. THAT'S NOT LEGAL!!!

I am having a simple issue with the app. I was told that I am eligible to cash out the following day but the app is not giving me the option. Customer support was trash. They were of no help and left me hanging. Be aware if you decide to utilize this app!

Please do not trust this company...I was sent on a job assignment ( it was all fake 🤥) the building was close ....and nobody is answering the phone! I hope it will be exposed on YouTube channel or else I will do it myself!

I recently started working this app. One company 4 times. Any payment under $100 went through just fine. I have 2 payments over $100 and one is missing $10 and I'm yet to get the other one and it's been 2 days. There is NO ONE to contact when this issue arouses. I hunted the internet and found this email address. I have emailed 3 times and no response. They have no number for us Contractors to get support. Their Facebook page last post was last year. The supervisors' names that you are supposed to report to are no longer working at the company. I sniff a scam, but who am I? I don't work for free and it sucks to have to be my own HR when this is not my responsibility.
