An overall wonderful experience
I have had a wonderful experience with work-tops.com. From start to finish communication with the company has been a breeze, I love how easily you can contact them through their WhatsApp service, it feels really personal. I wasn’t 100% on the off cut they had chosen for me so Kumar was happy to discount it for me which I really appreciated. Delivery was organised really quickly so that was another bonus and they were happy to work around us. Thank you for everything!

Perfectly sourced & installed Patagonia Quartzize Translucent stone
Kumar sourced for me a natural translucent stone which could be back lit, he sent me a catalogue of photos and then arranged with fitters for the install . I was very exact in what i wanted and the ambience that I wanted in the room and he promised and came through there were a few contingencies that are inevitable on a project like this nothings always plain sailing but he sourced resourced cut and recut delivered and redelivered , and most importantly he reassured me that he'll handle it and he did. ..since mine was a specialist material it needed specialist handling and workmanship when one installer wasn't confident in the installation he quickly handled it in a professional manner and took ownership of the problem and tasked the installation to a specialist firm in London, The team that arrived installed it perfectly.
This company is the only way to go NEVER purchase quality stones directly you will need knowledge guidance & expertise these natural stones have been deep in the ground for millions of years. You'll need a specialist and Kumar has a big network around the country and they all respect his professionalism which includes the biggest and best kitchen suppliers in the UK he is working with them all .. Trust me he has the knowledge and expertise for making your dream kitchen a reality.

My first quartz top and I love it !
Found this site while searching for a company to provide bespoke cut tops. Using the sites design tool I ordered a quartz breakfast bar in polished white marble and it looks amazing! Really happy with it!
Communication was excellent too confirming delivery and once the top was delivered they called me to check everything was ok. Nice touch !
They can also put you in contact with installers if you don’t fancy the job yourself.
Overall really happy with the product and service and I would definitely use these guys again :)

I have recently left a detailed comment offering an honest review (which you can see from a few days ago) and view of my experience with this company. I had left them 2 stars instead of one since their product was good, even though their customer service needed major improvement. It was an accurate reflection of my opinion, and in no way exaggerated, extreme, or insulting.
However, I have just been informed that my previous review had been flagged for defamatory content. It has since been allowed and a response has been submitted by the company. The response is polite and has taken my points into consideration. However, it is clear that this has only been done because it is now a public record, after their first attempt to remove my negative review failed.
This is a very concerning business practice and shows a huge disrespect to your customers if you are trying to censor negative customer reviews.
Please avoid this company.

If you could kindly provide us with your order number or the name under which the job was booked, we would like to investigate this further and ensure your concerns are addressed appropriately.
Regarding your comments:
WhatsApp Communication: We use WhatsApp alongside email to ensure fast and flexible communication, particularly during templating and installation stages. However, we understand that it may not be everyone’s preferred method, and we sincerely apologise if this approach felt unprofessional or caused confusion. Your preference for email should have been respected.
Multiple Contacts: We do assign internal teams based on stages of the project (sales, scheduling, installation), which sometimes results in different team members being involved. That said, your feedback has highlighted the need for clearer single-point communication, which we are currently working to improve.
Subcontracted Teams: We do subcontract some areas with trusted professionals for templating and fitting, which is standard across much of the industry. However, this should not affect the consistency of communication, and we apologise if this led to a fragmented experience.
Installation Delays: We fully understand the inconvenience caused by last-minute changes, especially where third-party trades (like plumbers) are involved. While some delays are unavoidable due to logistics or material readiness, we should have communicated these more proactively and with greater consideration.

If I could leave a zero for after care…
If I could leave a zero for after care I would.
Our worktop was not fitted properly and started staining at the edges and on the joins within 3 months.
Worktop company tried to suggest this is normal! They refuse to deal with this properly or to admit that this is not acceptable for a worktop that cost over £4,000.
Beware.
As per the response below- beware.
I was not warned and have never experienced what can only be water stains on a worktop! I did initially leave a good review because your fitters are really nice guys. I tried to resolve this with you amicably without altering the review as you know.

Before your purchase, our customer service team took the time to explain the pros and cons of natural stone, including how it should be maintained. Not all natural stones are porous, but in cases where the selected material is, as with your choice, we make sure to specifically inform customers and advise them to take extra care, particularly around sealing and ongoing maintenance.
You confirmed and proceeded with the purchase of a porous natural stone, fully aware of its nature. Your worktop was professionally installed on 22nd June 2024, and you kindly left us a very positive review immediately after, praising both the product and our service.
We received your first complaint about staining nearly than two months after installation. This delay unfortunately makes it difficult to assess the exact cause of the staining. The issue reported was minor—two stains of less than 4 cm on an overall worktop area exceeding 5 square metres.
Nonetheless, we took your concerns seriously and made two on-site visits, carrying out two full resealing services at no cost to you. We've even offered to do a third resealing, also free of charge. Please note that sealing work is officially a chargeable service, but we have gone above and beyond in this case to support you—even though natural stone typically does not come with a manufacturer’s warranty or guarantee due to its organic characteristics.
We always strive to provide excellent service and long-term support, even beyond what’s contractually required. We're still more than happy to provide guidance or assistance as needed, and we truly hope we can move forward positively.

really disappointed with this company. I ordered a product from them only to be told the price that they listed was wrong. after id paid and sent the money. It then took over a week to get my money back. they did say they would let me know when to product would be relisted back for sale but after emailing them with no response from them ill have to buy from elsewhere. officially I feel they should honer there original pricing when its there mistake.

were very responsive, via email, whatsapp and telephone. They sourced the marble, and also checked to ensure that the type was correct, by calling the designer that I was trying to match an existing piece of furniture with. Then, the cupboard top was delivered within a week. Amazing!

Amazing experience start to finish
Amazing experience start to finish. We had picked stones that were pushing our price out of our budget, Kumar helped us find the right stone that matches our kitchen units and our budget! When our stone sizes changed post templating, Kumar again arranged for larger stones to meet our requirements. The team is super responsive on WhatsApp. I've never waited more than a couple of.mins for a response even when I send a message on a thread that has been idle for days!
