Purchased a bathroom vanity. The website said it was 100% barn wood, but in actuality the barnwood was only on the outside of the vanity, so a bit of false advertising there. The build quality was pretty low. The plywood backing overlapped the side of the vanity so that the vanity couldn't be set flush with the wall. One drawer rubs the frame. The counter has many holes through it which is not functional for something advertised as a bathroom vanity. The sides and back of the door were not finished. The brace for the countertop was right in the middle of the sink opening such that you have to remove the support to install a sink. The drawer glides were jerky and had a very cheap feel. Overall, this vanity appears designed to look good on the outside but not really be functional. I contacted customer service and they were adamant they did not see any issues with the vanity, even saying that I was wrong and the door was actually finished. They firmly stated they stood behind their workmanship. I went to the BBB and they "agreed" to take the unit back, but per their return policy which said if they found no issues with the unit they would charge me return freight and not fully refund me. Based on their awful customer service to that point, I had no faith they would actually provide me a refund if they saw the manufacturing errors. They pointed me to a policy that there could be nail holes and this covered the countertop as well. Amazing they are proud to point to fine print above delivering functional products. I even tried to post a review on their website and it never appeared. I asked them about it and they said they had no record of me posting a review, and perhaps I had posted on the wrong page or website. I definitely did NOT. It now seems apparent why they have such high ratings in their product reviews. The delivery company called me the day before the scheduled delivery to try to badger me into leaving work to accept immediately. When I declined to leave work or skip a friend's birthday party after work, they did not show the next day when I DID take off work, and did not reach out to me for the next week until I contacted them. This company is not worth doing business with, and they appear to not want return customers.

Disappointing Experience with Undisclosed Delays and Unreasonable Cancellation Fees
I placed an order for chairs with Woodland Creek Furniture on January 2, 2026 (Order #PA-31974). Upon following up, I was informed that production would not be completed until April, with delivery expected in May. This extended timeline was not clearly disclosed in the order confirmation or during the purchasing process, leading to significant inconvenience.
When I requested cancellation due to the unexpected delay, the company agreed but imposed a 10% cancellation fee, citing that manufacturing had already begun. In my assessment, this fee is not commercially reasonable given the lack of upfront transparency regarding production schedules. Furthermore, the customer service throughout the interaction was inadequate, with responses lacking in empathy and clarity.
I intend to dispute the fee through my credit card company. To say the least, this business practice does not align with expectations for proper customer treatment in the furniture industry. I would advise potential buyers to thoroughly inquire about timelines and policies before committing to a purchase.

I purchased goods from Woodland Creek under Order #30531 (7/14/25). One item was not as advertised, constituting misrepresentation and nonconforming goods, and was returned. Woodland Creek acknowledged the refund obligation and issued a partial refund of $770.38 on 12/5/25, but has refused to pay the remaining $98.62 plus tax, claiming it represents a discount allocated to the returned item. When goods are misrepresented, a consumer is entitled to a full refund of the item’s purchase price, and a seller may not retain part of that refund by characterizing it as a promotional discount. I seek payment of the remaining balance and written confirmation that the refund is complete.
I have made good faith efforts to resolve this matter directly. Woodland Creek has not provided the remaining reimbursement or a lawful explanation for retaining the balance.
This conduct constitutes an unfair and deceptive act under the 1 Michigan Consumer Protection Act, MCL 445.901 et seq., which prohibits misrepresentation and requires appropriate remedies when goods are not as advertised.
Desired Resolution:
Immediate payment of $98.62 plus applicable tax, along with written confirmation that the refund obligation is fully satisfied.

First, my dresser order was about a month late in production. The order included this statement "We utilize a fantastic blanket wrap transportation company. They will deliver your order and carry it to the first dry area. This area could be an overhang on a deck, a carport, or a garage. If none of those are available, then the driver will take it through the first door of the house." Customer service "forgot" to notify me when the dresser was to be picked up by the shipper, then informed me there would be a further delay because they're now using a different freight company, JB Hunt. Several days later they informed me that JB Hunt can't deliver closer than 300 miles from my address, so they were going back to FedEx freight for my shipment. I then asked them to confirm the closest door threshold delivery. Here is their reply "Your order has been shipped via common carrier as specified on your purchase agreement. This is a standard, curb-side delivery with a liftgate. The disposal of the wooden crate is the customer’s responsibility. Please take the time to thoroughly inspect your item for damage before disposing of the crate as it would have to be shipped back in the same crate."

I'm 68 years old and live alone. In no way would I have ordered this dresser if I had known I would have to uncrate it, then transport thirty yards to my front door. Further, changing a blanket wrapped threshold delivery to dropping a crate off at the curb is a huge violation of our written contract. When I objected, they refused to either hire a company to fulfill our contract by uncrating and transporting the dresser to my front door, nor compensate me for the movers I would need to hire to accomplish this. Their final action, without apology or explanation was to cancel the order.

DO NOT do business with these people. As I have proven, they're liars, have no clue about customer service and are most certainly not to be trusted.

BUYER BEWARE...... If I could give this company zero stars I would . I purchased two chairs and a coffee table, and I never received the items. When I attempted to explain to Woodland Creek furniture company that the items, which were supposedly delivered by their shipping company (who would not talk to me about the missing items), was never received- and that there was no proof that the items were EVEN delivered, the company offered no assistance whatsoever. In fact, Woodland Creek did not request an investigation by their shipping company, or request to speak to the driver to determine where exactly the items were dropped off. They didn't even file a claim with their shipping company. Instead, they treated me like I was lying and refused to resolve the issue in any way. Let me point out that I have purchased several items from this company, and this is the only time I have ever had a problem, and I was not valued for my past patronage in any way. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT VALUE REPEAT CUSTOMERS OR ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE ANY ISSUES THAT A CUSTOMER MAY FACE- AS A RESULT OF SHOPPING AT THIER STORES. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.
