We travel often and have been using eSIMs for a few years to stay connected and avoid expensive roaming charges. Sowohl die Aktivierung der E-SIM als auch die Nutzung Vorort in Costa Rica waren einfach in der Handhabung und alles funktionierte hervorragend. Es ist absolut empfehlenswert ein E-SIM zu nutzen, weil Vorort in Costa Rica die Nutzung örtlicher Anbieter komplizierter ist, man muss sich telefonisch registrieren, dies wird nicht, wie z. B. in Thailand "einfach so" in einem Supermarkt für einen erledigt usw. Daher Daumen hoch für WonderConnect!

Ich war mit der E-Sim zufrieden
Ich kam mit der für mich neuen E-Sim gut zurecht, nachdem es am Anfang eine Weile gedauert hatte, bis sie lief. Man muss in den Einstellungen schon einiges vornehmen, damit es funktioniert. Für Leute, die mit solchen Sachen Probleme haben, ist das nicht ganz einfach. Mir hat die schrittweise Erklärung auf der App dann geholfen. Es wäre schön, wenn man nicht so viele Einstellungen vornehmen müsste. Als es dann funktioniert hat, war es okay. Natürlich gibt es momentan auf Kuba immer wieder Zeiten, in denen man kein Netz hat, aber das ist nun mal so. Gut fand ich, dass man keine Extratelefonnummer brauchte, sondern ganz normal in WhatsApp etc. schreiben konnte.
Ich hatte 5 GB, die ich fast verbraucht hatte, da ich doch oft online unterwegs war. Den Preis hierfür fand ich schon ziemlich happig. Etwas günstiger wäre besser. Aber im Vergleich zu früheren Kubabesuchen war ich froh, mein Handy nutzen zu können.
