Wolfburn is a multi-award-winning whisky distillery on the north coast of mainland Scotland. Building work commenced in the summer of 2012 and Wolfburn was reopened after some 150 years in early 2013. In 1821 William Smith founded a distillery on the outskirts of Thurso and named it Wolfburn after the watercourse it drew from, “burn” being the Scots word for stream or small river. The distillery was constructed from hardy local Caithness flagstone and the remains of its foundations can still be seen today. Smith invested heavily in Wolfburn and it quickly became a significant producer of malt whisky – tax records from the early 19th Century show it being the largest distillery in Caithness. In 1826 its annual production was 28,056 “Total Gallons of Proof Spirt” – roughly 125,000 litres. The new Wolfburn distillery building is just a short walk along the burn from the old site towards the sea. A mixture of ex-bourbon casks and ex-Olorosso sherry butts have been used so far in the maturation of this aromatic, mildly smokey delicious Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Our master craftsmen fashion their whisky the same way it has always been made: by hand, using only the finest ingredients, and without haste. Now available worldwide in over 38 countries.

You do a realy god job, the bottles were very qick shipped and very well packeged. Now your shipment costs are OK ! keep it up !

Wolfburns lovely 10 year old

I have a fair amount of different whisky's and although I have several different bottles from Wolfburn, they were all unopened until I bought my son in law a 10 year old and was offered the first drink out of it. Well, I found it to be one of the nicest whisky's I have It was smooth, flavoursome and warming without taking the lining from your throat, it was beautiful and so much so that I immediately ordered myself a bottle which unfortunately "evaporated" rather quickly. So much so that I have had to order two more bottles.
I am no whisky connoisseur but this was beautiful and would definitely recommend it.

Langship

I purchased two bottles of Langship. Took one to a friend of mine l, Glaswegian and and a knowledgable chap. 🐺 burn isn’t familiar to him but is now on his favourites list. This cask strength monster is a delight on the nose and with a touch of ice or water not only brings down the strength but ups the nose and taste to a smooth beauty. It’s now the fifth in my collection
