REPOSTING...when submitting a negative review through their link they send via email, conveniently it errors out, so negative reviews do not get posted. I had to go to Trustpilot directly to post my review.
Do not recommend. There are better options available, where you do not have to overpay. You are essentially paying for the convenience of writing a prescription, not a doctor's visit. But then, you still have to pay for the prescription at the pharmacy. They will try to say it is exactly like going to the doctor's office...never had to pay for the doctor to write a prescription....you pay for the visit. Then, Wisp will just decide to go ahead and cancel your subscription without your consent.
Overall, my experience with WISP has been positive. It's nice to have the option of a Pterodactyl alternative without needing to install all the addons etc. yourself - good for quick use.
However, I do have two main criticisms (they did mention they'll be addressing the first one, but really it should be a top priority):
1. The Client Portal is not particularly secure. 2FA should 100% be a feature, but it's not. It's relatively easy to have your WISP account breached.
2. Support could be better. While Will and the other team members are excellent, and have always provided top-tier service, there simply isn't enough people working for them. More people (with account-level access) would reduce wait times from hours to minutes.
Other than those two criticisms, WISP is a good product, as with all Infraly services, and I recommend it. Looking forward to seeing what can be improved in future.

And all works for me, i am happy, and customers happy, easiy to deploy all good.

I sent an e-mail to the contact address on their website asking for my account to be deleted as I do not use it anymore. They promptly replied by requesting that because WISP was bought out by infraly.co, I join their Discord and open a ticket there to get my account deleted. I do not want to associate my Discord account with my Wisp account, I just want my account deleted.
Tried to contact support for help with setup. Took them days to reply. Once I did get a reply, I noticed my licence key had disappeared so I then couldn't install the files on my Linux server. Reached out to support yet again didn't hear anything for nearly a week. Cancelled my subscription will be taking my business elsewhere.
Wisp was great, but then the project got inactive. I am very sad about seeing this project being so inactive.
But the panel doesnt release any more updates and is outdated... I switched to PTRODACTYL again since WISP is just a outdated copy, nothing more nothing less.

The project appears to be abandoned as no updates have been released since 11/21/2023 to fix the annoying issues.
I hope this gets resolved quickly. Otherwise I'll switch very quickly.
As a long time user of Wisp (since 2020) I'm really disappointed with Wisp. They refuse to fix annoying issues and the great features, like the mod pack installer for Minecraft, just doesn't work anymore.
The project is abandoned and looking forward to leave Wisp soon.
Love the panel and everything about it. setup was easy but my only complaint is the enterprise cost. ($10/node/mo) 5/5 if it was more like $20/mo for unlimited nodes but I understand the price
For something that strives on being a panel for hosting companies the solutions and options available for resolving issues and getting support even paying the "Enterprise" subscription is practically non-existent to say the least. Email support is the only option and they only have one billing solution so dont expect a wide range of ways to pay, CC only. I highly recommend running your own Pterodactyl setup and buy the many addons available that do the very same features WISP charges a monthly service for.
Wisp makes me feel WISPY! They take the hard work out of running a panel, and keep it running well. I don't have to worry about redundancy, renewing certs or working with difficult pterodactyl addons.

I have been rooting for wisp for the last year trying to get my hosting company to switch over to it. So far we have come across 2 huge issues and support is almost non existant. I feel extremely disappointed by them especially after their great claims.
Wisp's customer support is terrible, their support ticket system recently stopped working and they haven't bothered to fix it, they now rely on emails and Discord DMs for support(both known to not be reliable methods at a large scale like Wisp
When I started using Wisp, a few years ago it was great value for what they were offering, but its features has diminished and Wisp hasn't kept up with it's main competitor Pterodactyl. Pterodactyl has made significant progress in recent years to make it a better option and even surpassing WISP in some main areas.
Wisp is no longer justified for the price, their pace of new features and development is sluggish and there are over 100 open issues reported on GitHub with some over a year old, they have remained unaddressed.
Additionally, Wisp's customer support is terrible, their support ticket system recently stopped working and they haven't bothered to fix it, they now rely on emails and Discord DMs for support(both known to not be reliable methods at a large scale like Wisp), on top of that their support times are slow, like can be up-to a month at times. If you have got an issue that doesn't require the staff to sort out you're almost relying on the good will of fellow users in their discord to help a large majority of the time, which from seeing a recent conversation on there, their users are not afraid of becoming hostile against people who saying how slow and terrible their support is.
At the time of writing, I am still waiting for a refund from them.
Its ok for personal or community use but would not recommended at all for commercial businesses.
A few years back, it was a worthwhile option, but the significance of its features has gradually diminished. The panel Wisp is based on, "pterodactyl," has made significant progress in recent years, even surpassing WISP in some key areas that I would consider fundamental. The key distinction lies in the daemon; Pterodactyl's GO daemon is superior in every aspect.
The attractive features of WISP are not justifiable at the current asking price. The pace of new feature development is sluggish, and long-standing issues reported on GitHub have remained unaddressed.
Additionally, there is ample room for improvement in customer support area as ticket responses are slow and you're almost relying on the good will of fellow users in their discord to help a large majority of the time.
I hope in time they can address the issues, and add more features to make their product worthwhile again, its still decent for personal or community use but not recommended for commercial businesses in my opinion.

Furthermore, I have noticed that simple bugs that have been reported by several users on your online forums/github/discord have not been resolved yet. This is highly concerning, as it indicates that your company is not giving enough attention to the concerns of your customers.
I must say that the lack of support and updates from your company is making the WISP service increasingly unreliable and obsolete. I am disappointed that the quality of service has deteriorated to such an extent that the WISP is becoming increasingly obscure and without any significant support or updates.
I urge your team to take immediate action to address these issues and improve the quality of service provided to your customers. I hope to receive a prompt response from your team and see significant progress towards resolving these concerns.
recently i tried to buy wisp.gg Community plan via bank transver and never recieved it. tried contacting them via email and dms and never got a response.
I'm new to WISP and so far I enjoy it! The software was SUPER easy to install, and we had everything up in minutes. The docs are really easy to understand. You do need a bit of experience in my opinion, but a little learning and you are good to go. Great price for what you get!
