Windows Warrantee quoted to replace the old polycarbonate roof sheets and seals on my elderly mother’s conservatory.
Installation day arrived and work was completed. A few days later I noticed a few snagging issues such as missing flashing and roof sheet retaining plates, and small leaks were apparent during heavy rain, so we got back in touch with our concerns. A date was set for their return to address these snags, which was then cancelled by them due to a poor weather forecast. This happened a few more times. Then we had a new date given to us which they failed to attend. We followed this up the next day, but at this point they stopped responding to our requests for a new date. We tried calling/emailing etc over the next few weeks, but they just stonewalled us.
At this point we contacted and made a claim against Windows Warrantee through our credit card provider, hoping that they would spur Windows Warranty into action. We were still quite happy for them to come out and sort things as this would be the simplest solution.
Anyway, after many months of investigation from our card provider (and reading between the lines, delaying tactics from Windows Warrantee) we were asked to get an alternative quote for the repairs needed. Whilst this 3rd party was investigating the roof to see what needed doing it was highlighted that some of the poly sheets had now slipped down in the frames due to the lack of the retaining plates, tearing what little flashing had been applied allowing much more water to leak during rainfall. This company quoted a repair bill of approx. 40% of the initial work carried out by Windows Warrantee.
Thankfully this repair cost has been fully covered by my mother’s Credit Card provider, but we now need to arrange for these repairs to be done and until they are I suspect there will be a lot of buckets needed below the leaks.
Also, Windows Warrantee state they have a 10-year guarantee on their work. This is obviously rubbish as they can’t even attend their own snagging issues and it’s highly unlikely that they will honour any future issues with this installation.
My advice is to avoid this company like the plague

this company has taken £1100 from me with a contract saying it could be cancelled in 14 days with a guaranteed full refund. i cancelled within 24 hours after realising i’d been over charged dramatically. i still haven’t had my full refund 6 months on. i’m a single parent as they know and they close to ignore my letters and calls. i’m disgusted in this company. not professional just full on con men

Avoid. Just discovered this company took over £1,600 from my elderly father for nothing more than looking at his windows. Horrible bunch.

Paid my deposit in good faith didn't hear from them for two months to be then told they have underestimated by about £3000 so I asked for a refund two weeks and numerous phonecalls later I'm still waiting !

Very happy with the service. Had my widows refurbished and also the glass changed all around the house. All my widows and doors are closing flush, no drafts, much warmer in the house now.
The only recommendation is only for their people who manage the schedules, as it took me a few extra calls to confirm for sure the appointments.
The engineers and the salesman very professional and experienced.
I recommend this company.

Had two gentlemen to reseal and clean my windows to a very high standard. Windows look brand new and windows will last longer now they have been resealed and checked. This will save me a lot of money in the future.
Excellent service and arrived on time. Would highly recommend this service.

Let down from start to finish, never turned up to do the job, paid a deposit took lots and lots of phone calls to get it back that's when i could get through, very disappointing caused me lots of stress!!!!!!

Failure to attend prearranged annual service appointments.

We have upvc windows that we were considering replacing because they were not functional. Window Warranty's assessor advised us that they were good quality windows that could be brought back to working condition for a fraction of the price (and stress). The job was booked in within 3 weeks and the windows look and work like new. The workmen were friendly, efficient, helpful and left no mess. We would recommend highly for window refurbishment.

Contacted the company to deal with a water leak in our conservatory (installed by another company who don't do any work outside guarantee) and also to clean the conservatory. Quick response to come and discuss our needs, then do a survey and then to come and do the work.
However bit of a problem with a replacement part, a consequence being that in the next rain we had a leak again.
When I contacted the company about this problem, they got it sorted VERY quickly and to my satisfaction; no arguments about it at all. Heavy rain a few days ago and no leaks. And the cleaning was fine.

Awful company. Do not use. The technical advisor promised the conservatory would look gleaming & new. We had them in July to do maintenance, change a piece of long glass in the conservatory, a full clean. Old sealant removed & new replaced in the conservatory this wasn't a good job some not even replaced. The team they sent wasn't organised & wanted to use all our stuff not their own.. our jet washer was broke anyway. They left tops off sealant all over the roof. Loads of bits of sealant all over the new glass just replaced. I had the gutters checked this week there was lumps of leaves & mud and no better than we had left them previously so they hadn't been touched & still stained all inside the gutter on conservatory.The cleaning up they left a right mess on new resin in the garden.
To top all this off they have ruined my expensive glass coffee table from the conservatory stained with all sealant that has dried up. We were promised a follow up to check all the work but with the bad weather now wet it has removed some off the glass but still a mess. It looks no better than before the maintenance. Some of the plastic inside the conservatory where the lights are are still not cleaned. Overall a 0 for all of it.They have broken most of the contract we had with them. They promised to mend a attic window then half way through waiting for the contract to start said it couldn't be fixed but still charging us the same money thy asked for including it. The price was ridiculous for a quick clean, some sealant, few handles, but basically an awful clean outside as i say half the bits of sealant were left on the new window fitted. Please don't use this company..

Its a pity I cannot click zero on the stars. I had a cold call from Window Warranty even though the area is a no cold calling area and I have a sign in the window. They were very nice and their original company fitted all my windows (Thermaglaze) and the bulk iof them in the house were over 25 years old and i have never had issues with them. But the porch windows were misted (5 of them). They arranged an appointment for them to survey the windows then on the day tried to move the appointment from 12 noon to 4:30pm but I couldnt make the changed time so made a different time. The guy arrived late and spent 3 mins in the house and kept asking about other windows, He said there were 4 windows to do there were 5 and left stating that the office would ring in the morning. That was THREE weeks ago and i am still waiting for the call !! T o spend 3 mins in the house and perhaps he was upset that I did not say there were any more windows to do but the service was appaling. he wasted my time !

Really happy with the finished product, had complements off the neighbour who thought we’d had new windows installed!
Very thorough and cleaned up after themselves, hopefully we’ll have a warmer winter!
The only slight criticism I have is that the communication could be better!

Great customer service ,following the service we were still awaiting a part , however I was kept informed about its arrival and then to arrange installation ..

Enquiry salesman spot on time. Tech survey spot on time. Work carried out spot on time. Conservatory roof cleaned, refurbished where needed and resealed. 3 pleasant guys led by Alistair who obviously has a lot of experience in the work. Spent 8 hours with no real break. Not cheap but happy with the outcome.

We had all our windows serviced the work that was carried out was done professionally and to a great standard our windows look like new. The workmen were very competent and friendly and delivered excellent customer service. The communication from the office staff was great called to let us know when the workmen would be arriving and follow up call to ensure we were happy with the work carried out overall would definitely recommend using this company
