When the computer was playing up the auction house lady came to my help and we completed the purchase.

Never sold or bought or attended an auction before after a death in my family I had dispose of my sister’s possessions, contacted a lot of auctioneers who gave advice and tips but Windibanks were so helpful.
I decided to go with them and was so pleased I did, very efficient, informative on all my goods and pricing and available to speak to at all times, above all ,nice people who wanted to help you. Would highly recommend, especially if it’s all new to you.

Great website, very easy to bid at auction online; catalogue well indexed and numbered, categories drop down menu on first page of auction making finding what you want straightforward. On many lots there are several photos, unlike some other auction sites where there is a single photo.
The people who work there are even better than the website! - friendly, professional & welcoming. Have used many times and always more than happy with the experience.

I have no time for a catalogue with no index. anything over 300 lots I will do a few searches and move on, my loss perhaps but there's lots more out there.

P F Windibank is the best auction house that I have ever dealt with....there shipping costs ,condition reports and speedy delivery , I have just received a delivery of my lots the auction was only mid week and I asked if they could be delivered either quickly as we are going away for a few days on Friday I said if not hold back shipping until are return ....I felt a bit cheeky but couldn't believe it when I received a courier email to say they would be delivered today....absolute fantastic thankyou Simon and all the lovely staff warmest wishes Jenny*********

We contacted Windibanks to enquire about selling some wrought iron garden furniture and lead planters. Helen was extremely helpful with advice on number of lots, lot descriptions, reserves, timed versus live auctions, and the logistics of bringing the items to Windibanks. We are very pleased with the outcome of the auctions, and look forward to using Windibanks again in the near future.

I took some items of jewellery to Windibank as I wished to sell them. Mr Simon Windibank was quite clear as to which items might sell well and which were not suitable, according to current taste. The two items which went forward sold and the resulting sum of money lodged in my bank account, so I was content.

I enjoyed my visit to the showroom and the staff were most welcoming.

This is the first time I have bought from Windibank Auction House, Dorking.
As I don't live locally, I bid on line for a "Wellington Chest" that I was interested in.
I was delighted to have had the winning bid. I paid for it via a link to the Windibank website.
When I arrived to collect it, I was given a warm welcome and the owner kindly carried the chest to the car and helped me load it in the back.
I look forward to buying from Windibank's again.

Great communication with staff at Windibank before the auction when checking on delivery. I bought a very large ceramic cat and it arrived completely unscathed! The packaging was superb and delivery was organised very quickly, all at a very competitive price. Would highly recommend this auction house - others could learn a lot from their customer service.

I was selling a small collection of pottery and the service throughout was exemplary. Communication was great, process of valuation/lotting was very efficient and a satisfactory outcome in the sale. Really impressed and no hesitation in recommending Windibank.

Excellent experience of their timed auction and subsequent communication, including their packing and delivery of a large quantity of fragile pottery - all first-rate.

I recently bought several paintings from P.F.Windibank auction. They are one of the very, very few auction companies who provide postage and packing. The charges are very reasonable and it is far easier and cheaper than using a courier. I telephoned to ask about delivery as I was going away the following week, they were so helpful, they packed my paintings the next day and I received them the following morning by overnight courier. The paintings were securely packed with plenty of bubble wrap, paper and boxed inside cardboard boxes. I can't recommend P.F.Windibank highly enough, fantastic service.

After house clearing my Mother’s house, I approached Windibanks with regards to selling many items (ranging from pictures, silver, ornaments, figurines, brass, glass and more). They were very friendly, helpful and efficient throughout the whole process. There are a number of stages for selling and we were very successful. I still have a few more items to sell and will be using Windibanks again.
