A bit disappointing...Lackluster Ghost Stories
The tour started on time and lasted one hour, as stated. The guide's lantern battery died even before the tour started, which wasn't a deal breaker, but would have been a nice touch to the tour. The tour guided ended each stop with a song, as an ode to a tour guide that he once had who ended each site with a quote. It wasn't my favorite ghost tour for the following reasons: The stories were neither scary nor very interesting. The tour guide, Jimmy, did try his best, but the stories did not captivate me. When we stopped at the Peyton Randolph house, it was obvious that someone was inside and had lighted a lantern, which was a bit of a disappointment. In addition, when we stopped at the church, there was an event taking place that overshadowed the ghost story. Finally, there was a tour of school children that were housed on the steps of the courthouse during this portion of the tour- so needless to say the tour was distracting and interrupted by others and the stories were just so, so. Again, not my favorite ghost story tour. A bit of a disappointment.

Enthusiastic guide with ghostly knowlege
Our tour guide was enthusiastic and well informed. While he was guiding us, telling stories of ghostly encounters, he was enjoying the evening as much as we were. Fun time.

Great Thing For People Who Have Done the Theme Parks
The historical information was excellent. Jared was very knowledgeable. He included little facts along with the paranormal and some humor as well which made the tour come together just right. I appreciate the time options for the tour and will definitely recommend this one to everyone.

Patrick was all we hoped for
Patrick was all we hoped for. He is very knowledgeable and personable. I have a limited walking ability. Patrick paced our walk perfectly. He also showed me several places to sit and rest.
My partner is very limited in USA history and its vocabulary…terms were well explained.

I would 100000% recommend a short tour to anyone wanting to explore the area. As someone who believes in ghost, it was such a silly and fun way to explore the history of the town and such— that’s coming from someone who wasn’t particularly a fan of history in high school! Patrick was the best guide.

Paid extra for emf meter
Paid extra for emf meter , no meters provided , guides lantern didn’t work/ claimed because the ghosts in the area mess with power and phones and it was fully charged before…yea ok. , suppose to be candle light , no light or emf/ 80$ for 2 people with the extra for this experience- guide seemed not well prepared , regret choosing this over the actual colonial Williamsburg tours passing us in outfit and candle light , there’s zero reason to choose these over the real, no access to buildings or even yards / it is clearly the B level show when you’re out and about .

The best ghost tour!
Me and my group attended the ghost tours not knowing what to expect, and at the end of the tour we realized it was the highlight of our vacation! Tour guide Patrick was a fantastic storyteller with a lot of knowledge about the history and a clear passion for the town. The tour was engaging, spooky, and fun and left my group and I talking and reflecting on the supernatural history of this area for hours. I absolutely recommend this tour for any families visiting the area!

Amazing Tour
We have done multiple ghost tours and we really enjoyed this one. It was very informative with the gruesome story connected to the haunt. We will be back to do another tour.
