though I remain disappointed with the outcome of this situation.

I understand your stance on SMTP restrictions, but my frustration arises from the fact that the feature was working as expected initially, and then, without any prior notice or explanation, the port was closed. I fully acknowledge that restrictions may be in place, but the sudden blocking of the port after four days of continuous work, without any clear communication, left us in a difficult position. We had already started configuring and working on our application, investing considerable time and effort. To have the port closed unexpectedly was a significant setback, and it effectively rendered our VPS unusable for our purposes.

We did not use the service in any illicit or prohibited way, and at no point were we informed of any limitations regarding this feature, which, as you mentioned, may have been due to older network rules. Had we been made aware that this was not a guaranteed feature, we would have chosen a different approach from the start.

Given that we had been using the VPS in good faith, putting in 5 days of hard work, and were met with a sudden service disruption, we believe a refund for both VPSs, including the 5 days of service where we couldn’t complete our work, is a fair request. Additionally, the way we were treated by your support team-dismissive and lacking in respect-only added to the frustration.

We understand that your terms of service are in place, but we would hope that, in the interest of customer satisfaction and fairness, you would take into account the lost effort, time, and energy that we invested. A full refund would help mitigate some of the impact caused by this unforeseen issue.

We kindly ask that you reconsider our request for a refund, including the 5 days of service, and that you engage with us in a more respectful and professional manner moving forward.

SMTP access is restricted by default on all our VPS services and is only enabled upon request and approval, as stated in our Terms of Service.

During the initial period, SMTP traffic could appear partially available due to legacy network rules. This was not intended behavior and has since been corrected as part of a mandatory security update to protect our infrastructure and IP reputation.

The VPS service itself remained fully operational at all times. No approved SMTP access was requested, and no service outage occurred.

We understand the frustration caused by the change, however the service was delivered according to our policies, and refund eligibility is governed by our stated refund terms.

We remain available via support for any further questions regarding permitted use cases.
