I would like to say a huge thank you to the entire team for their kindness, patience and outstanding care.

The ladies I spoke to on the phone were always so lovely, understanding and attentive. They took the time to answer my questions and made me feel listened to and supported throughout the whole process.

The veterinary team were equally wonderful. They were incredibly patient, compassionate and dedicated, and it was clear how much they genuinely care about the animals they look after. I was particularly touched by the time and attention they gave me, never making me feel rushed and always making sure I had the information and reassurance I needed.

The team also took the time to follow up with me and check that everything was going well, which meant a great deal to me. That level of personal care and consideration really stood out.

I honestly couldn't have asked for a kinder, more caring and more professional team. I am extremely grateful to every single person who took the time to help me and my little dog.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this team to anyone looking for people who truly care about their patients and their owners. Thank you all so much for your kindness, patience and support. It really means more than you know! ❤️

Took a video of my dog wheezing and sent it to the vet and also phoned to explain that I have a nervous dog and would ideally like to speak to a vet about what it might be before or after a visit with the dog to reduce her time spent in the vets and reduce her anxiety. It took them from Tuesday to Friday night before they got in contact with me then had no appointments until Monday. They advised me to just ‘ring around’ other vets to see if they could see her. Couldn’t care less. If they can’t service their patients why are they taking on new ones? The people who answered the phones were rude and couldn’t really care less. Don’t get the impression they care about the animals Not going back there!

Don't go here — find another vet

Honestly, don't take your pet to this practice. Based on my experience, this is a place driven by billing, not by the wellbeing of your animal.

My dog was prescribed a dose of antibiotics that — as I found out only by checking the manufacturer's own datasheet myself — was well above the recommended amount. I should never have had to catch that. You trust a vet to get something as basic as a dosage right, and the fact that I couldn't left me with serious doubts about their competence.

And the money never stopped. Every time I brought her back for a check-up after her procedure, they tried to charge me again — despite having already paid around £2,000. When I later asked questions about her treatment, I was ignored completely.

So my advice is simple: don't go here. There are far better vets who will actually put your animal first.

Used to be good. Surgery still good in an emergency, but outpatient service is dreadful. An ever revolving cast of junior vets - many of whom have to Google for answers during consults - so no relationship with any one vet or even regular team, and little confidence in their experience. Absolutely dreadful administrative staff who regularly lose track of information, send the wrong information, don’t respond to emails and get appointment dates wrong. A shame - they used to be a good vets, which we trusted but I don’t feel confident in their ability to adequately care for my dog anymore.

In August 2025 my five-year-old Dachshund, underwent emergency spinal surgery (IVDD, T13-L1) at Voo Vets Surbiton. I am sharing this review because I believe other pet owners deserve to know about our experience before entrusting their animals to this practice.

Despite being promised daily calls and photographs during hospitalisation, updates rarely came unless I chased them. On multiple occasions I received photographs showing my dog lying in soiled bedding. His nose became red, raw and bleeding — consistent with him trying to avoid the mess — pointing to inadequate nursing supervision. I was also called in twice to hand-feed him chicken because he had refused to eat, which raised further concerns about the level of care and engagement he was receiving. Following discharge, he still displays new fearful behaviours — recoiling when approached or lifted — that were entirely absent before his stay.

Three months later my dog developed the same symptoms and required a second, more complex surgery at another hospital. Their MRI and surgical findings confirmed that a significant amount of disc material had been left behind from the first procedure, making the second operation considerably harder. The contrast in care was stark: despite a more complicated surgery, his stay was shorter, communication was proactive and consistent, and we received daily calls directly from his surgeon.

Six months on from his second surgery, my dog is still in daily rehabilitation and has not returned to the fitness he had before August 2025. I believe the first surgery was not performed to an adequate standard, that the second surgery was preventable, and that the two consecutive procedures without adequate recovery time between them has been seriously detrimental to his long-term wellbeing.

I submitted a formal complaint to Voo Vets in April 2026. They did not reply within the 14 days they promised and I had to chase them for a response. When it eventually came, rather than addressing any of my specific concerns, they simply asked me to agree to referral to the Veterinary Defence Society (VDS). I would caution other owners: despite being presented as an independent, impartial body, the VDS is in fact an insurance organisation that represents veterinary professionals — not pet owners. At the time of writing, the VDS holds a 1.8 star rating on Trustpilot. I do not consider this a satisfactory or genuinely independent resolution process.

I have copied my complaint to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), the regulatory body for the veterinary profession in the UK.

I would urge any owner considering this practice for specialist or surgical care to reflect carefully on our experience.

VooVets have been nothing short of lifesavers for our puppy. After a devastating experience with another vet, where she had surgery to remove two foreign objects and was left with a severe scar and internal damage, we were heartbroken and worried for her future.

Thanks to VooVets, our puppy is finally on the road to recovery. Their expertise, compassion, and genuine dedication have given her a second chance at life. We are forever grateful — and we wouldn’t trust our pets with anyone else.

Extremely dissatisfied with the service at the VOO veterinary clinic. Two times, they changed appointment on the day and now they change it without notifying me. This caused inconvenience and wasted my time. I expected more professionalism in such matters.

Hoping for a more efficient and predictable appointment booking system.

We have monthly subscription and We are completely satisfied with the work of the doctors.
However, we cannot be confident that we will receive the scheduled appointment time. The uncertainty in securing the requested time slot remains a concern for us.
