I requested an Airport transfer in Almaty Kazahstan and paid seven times more than a regular taxi cost there. I did not mind the price since I am an often international traveler and expected a high service, quality vehicle (which I have chosen in Welcome Taxi website) for the money I paid. Unfortunately, Welcome Taxi is far from quality and ethical services! They fast at charging you for the service however as soon as you contact them to report on undelivered services and quality and models of vehicle you ordered, they go silent. I was supposed to get Porsche Cayenne and instead I was offered a barely holding together Toyota sedan. The driver was as surprised as I was when I told him that I expected a luxury ride. It was not drivers fault but mismanagement and misrepresentation of Welcome Taxi company and I understand. Nicolas- aperantly a manager- was open to communication until I reported a bad and dissatisfied service; then he never responded to my messages any more. What kind of ethical business behavior is that? Anyway I am not planning to use Welcome Taxi anymore and do not recommend it ! Best Regards

I want to response to my Taxi driver (Toyota Prius) for what he complained, was about his business as a Taxi driver has went down compared to Uber.
The distance is about 46 miles from LAX to my home at Montclair, CA with 1 person + 1 light backpack and a 15 kg suitcase. It took about 1 hour drive, no traffic (on Saturday) and he charged me $141.00.
For Prius, the full tank of gas is about $35-$40 only and it can drive back and forth from LAX to Montclair for many times. This was over charge for $141.00 (I paid him without saying a word because I was so tired for a long travel). But I want to tell you, this is the reason why your Taxi driver keeps going down from day to day. (My taxi driver was an White Indian-Muslim still speaks English in an accent).

This was my second time using Welcome Taxi. To date, very reliable. I shall use them again.

the taxi arrived 1 hour late. there was no message from him when we arrived. We had to call him to know why he was not there. he said he would arrive in 20 minutes but in the end we waited 1 full hour. It is absolutely unacceptable.
once Inside he did not know where to go and had to check the address while he was Driving. it was not safe at all as he was looking at he phone while Driving.

Driver went the extra distance to accomadte a late flight. Definitely would use again

There was a change in the flight through no fault of my own,i promptly notified them of the change,was told there would be an adjustment to the fee.Then I was told there would be no adjustment.A!so,the driver was late,this was very inconvient as my phone does not work in Europe.very disappointing.
