BEWARE OF WE-HAUL MOVING SERVICES
The broker company Amerisafe Moving sent me We-Haul Moving Services company to take care of my move. My experience with We-Haul Moving Services was absolutely terrible. It took almost two months to get my belongings delivered. During that time, the company ignored phone calls, hung up on me, and provided no clear answers. Later, they even implied that their extreme delay was due to “drivers afraid to come to work because of ICE raids,” which is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
The packing crew did not do any inventory and consisted of five incompetent workers who failed to pack fragile items properly. Many of my items arrived broken or missing. Several personal belongings were also stolen, and the company refused to acknowledge the theft or investigate it. The packing team operates out of Southern California and was led by a foreman named Davit Chikvaidze — beware if you are considering hiring them.
Communication with their so-called claims department is equally awful. There is no valid phone number, only email exchanges that go nowhere. After months of back-and-forth, I received only $218 in “compensation” for thousands of dollars in losses.
Once they get paid, they simply stop caring about their customers. I hope this company goes out of business, so others don’t experience what I went through.
